Tennis has never been bigger than cricket in this country, and there still is a tennis court at every school, and hundreds of tennis clubs, but the rest of the world now plays tennis, not just a select few countries, TV ratings for the Aus open climb every year, as well as crowds.
Golf in this country is doing extremely well, it’s ratings are certainly not in a nose dive, or player numbers.

In fact these days there is very little to no drop kicking in Australian football, however in soccer they drop kick it as far as they can, with very little care to where it lands, its extremely skillfull.
Today i have played cricket, cooked a roast, been for a swim at the beach , watched the cricket, and obviously enraged a few socceristas, the last bit is extremely easy.

I think lots sports struggle with kids over 12, but from a cricket POV, it all depends on what area you live in, i can safely say in my area of Perth they have plenty of kids playing cricket ……Plenty !!!!
