Only days ago Souths coach Wayne Bennett was telling everyone they are putting too much pressure on his 16 year old.
Now that same club and coach are petitioning the NRL to allow this kid to play NRL next year.

Just another example of the glaring hypocrisy of Bennett and the Scabbitohs.

NRL may bend the rules in order to sign Joseph Suaalii

Bennett is one of the biggest self-serving, two-faced hypocrites to ever coach a team in Rugby League. He treats those he doesn’t like with complete disdain while expecting him and his record to be respected. He treats players he doesn’t want as little more than a commodity to be used to suit his purpose while lauding himself as a great man manager. He’s ignorant, divisive and refuses point blank to acknowledge any mistake he makes.

Add to that the game has passed him by. His “sit and wait” defensive culture borders on redundant. His attack is “block play, block play, kick and hope”. He’s currently at a club that prides itself on looking after it’s Indigenous players, yet Alex Johnson, Indigenous player and local junior, has been told, be somewhere else. Talk to most Souths fans and they can’t wait to see the back of him as they believe their club has gone backwards under Bennett.

He’ll undoubtedly get another gig at a club based on his reputation, but it is a reputation that is being exposed by articles such as these. Keep up the good work.

Is Wayne Bennett a super coach or a super fraud?

https://wwos.nine.com.au/afl/caroline-wilson-takes-aim-at-afl-integrity-unit-over-adelaide-crows-camp/50a37c22-16be-4a8f-a6a7-d840c87b9d07

Veteran AFL journalist Caroline Wilson has questioned “why the AFL even has an integrity unit” if they are unwilling to lay charges over the Adelaide Crows’ infamous 2018 pre-season training camp.

Revelations detailed by The Age over the weekend revealed players were “petrified” and “unnerved” when they realised sensitive information they had confided to club staff had likely been handed to the facilitators of the ‘Collective Mind’ camp facilitators to be used in an activity.

And here we have yet another AFL incident neatly swept under their large and ever expanding carpet of cover-ups. The AFL “Integrity” unit investigated = nothing to see here. The Crows investigated = nothing to see here. The AFL players association investigated = nothing to see here.

The AFL Integrity Unit is an oxymoron.

Time to end the code wars, AFL and NRL can live in harmony

This article is wishful thinking while ever the AFL administration, media, fan base, players et al look upon, write and generally talk about Rugby League as an inferior code.

Rugby League is a working class game and the fans and followers have for decades been looked down from those in the Rugby Yawnion circles, so it is with no lack of gleefulness that I know look at that code failing miserably. The leather patch, tweed coat wearing, champagne and canepa’s eating toffs can suck it as far as I and a lot of Rugby League fans are concerned.

The same for the AFL. You only have to look at an episode of Offsiders on ABC to see and hear the smugness with which AFL media types portray Rugby League and contrarily with which they protect the AFL. Every unsavoury incident in League is given a full and comprehensive review, while any equally unsavoury incident in AFL is glossed over in a matter of seconds. Same with the Back Page and Kelly Underwood is a pure and absolute AFL apologist and wouldn’t know the meaning of the word objective when reporting on the AFL.

You want a truce? Ok, you can start by publishing this comment.

Time to end the code wars, AFL and NRL can live in harmony

Would love to seem them stay on for another year and kill it if for no other reason than to shove it up the rest of the comp about how smart we as a club are.

Morris twins to decide on NRL future

You first claim the NRL can’t compete with the AFL in Sydney and now your going to write six articles claiming you know which NRL club is the most powerful?

Why not cover topics like why AFL coaches now believe your code is a complete borefest?
Why scoring points in the AFL is now akin to finding Lasseters Reef?
Why AFL players cannot follow simple instructions like remain isolated?
How the AFL administration is failing badly?

I realise you’re simply following the standard AFL media process of “LOOK OVER HERE” when your code is failing, but we can see through this.

Cover your own code and stop trying to make out you’re some NRL guru when all you are is an AFL stooge desperately trying to distract from your codes massive failings.

Who is the most powerful NRL club? Part 1

Looking forward to see how Flanagan goes against this opposition without his foil in Rads, a real test for the kid but one I’m sure he’ll be up for.

Storm and Roosters to clash in Broncos heartland

Trust in Trent!

The Roosters' 2020 campaign will be Trent Robinson’s greatest challenge so far

Wayne Bennett has more faces than a Rubics Cube and you don’t have to worry about casting aspersions on his integrity because he has none.

Wayne Bennett doesn't have a leg to stand on when firing up about his future

Name calling? And here I thought all you AFL fanboys were intellectuals? Oh well, nerve hit.

Why the NRL can't compete with the AFL in Sydney

Oh so now it’s conspiracy theories the Roar publishes? Can’t wait to read your next one.

Top-eight twists will be a formality as warp-speed fallout takes hold

“Gutsy and brave, the Roosters are still the best”

Issac Liu played on with a broken rib after being gang tackled in goal before being unable to return. Our two starting front rowers played 80mins and 74 mins respectively. We’ll lift.

Eight talking points from NRL Round 7

Watching the Broncos players laughing and joking after their loss I got this weird sense of deja vu as I was laughing and joking after their loss as well.

Seibold is done, and the board needs to explain

“Roosters officials were quick to blame the surface while plenty in the commentary box disagreed.”

No we didn’t. This was confirmed in Robbo’s presser right after the game and this article was published yesterday. C’mon Jason, get your facts right.

Top-eight twists will be a formality as warp-speed fallout takes hold

Great win by the boys, truly inspirational. Our front rowers are machines, hard, tough uncompromising machines.

Keary and Morris take care of Dragons at a cost

LMAO – you’re quaint little code only played in 5 states in one country is pure puss as a spectacle, says coaches in your own code.

What COVID has revealed for AFL is a sport bereft of excitement, skill, passion and points. This exposure will be felt when the TV rights come up for negotiation again and I see a 30% reduction in that money as Fox Sports see there is very limited worth in this dull and boring sport.

Why the NRL can't compete with the AFL in Sydney

The salt is strong in this one. A quick question, out of our two clubs, mine being the Roosters, which one has gone from being caught systematically rorting the cap to blowing the cap on crap players? This’ll test your honesty.

The neutral dilemma for finals: Which NRL team to support

There was no swinging arm! Watch the tackle again and Knight clips JWH with his arm as he’s falling which causes JWH to flinch to the side, otherwise Knight’s head hits JWH’s chest. The result is still the same with the head clash, but that’s not JWH fault.

Hudson Young cops eight-game ban for eye contact

The last thing the code needs is another Gruburgess polluting up the field. Sam will do well to restrain himself from any of the following:
Sack grab
High shot
Low shot
Back shot
Elbow drop
Knees in
Cannonball
or his favourite, the chiken wing.

Burgess given no guarantees of NRL return

The Knights. They at least showed some promise during their season. The Dragons were never going to fire a shot with coach McExcuses in charge.
The Dogs provided some lols during the year with their scintilating plodness. But they dug in.
And if that low brow Tallis wants a club to be moved look no further than his Titans as they languish at the bottom of everything.
Had the Broncos not made the finals it would have been a tremendous year of no QLD backetcases we’d have to endure.

Which non-finalist has been 2019's most disappointing side?

“The mind is the most powerful weapon.” Except if its weak to begin with as is the case in Mitchell Pearce. He is simply too weak minded to be the true professional needed to lead a team like the Knights. Instead of looking towards 2019 with the professional attitude needed given the expectations of the season, Pearce was partying hard most of last off season and taking others down that path, SKD to name one.

If you want someone to lead a drinking session Pearce is your man, if you want someone to lead your team to the NRL finals…well, just look at 2019.

Adam O'Brien can mark the beginning of a new era at the Knights

The problems are Newcastle start and end with Mitchell Pearce. He is a woeful role model, a poor communicator, is selfish beyond reasoning and firmly believes he is untouchable. It’s little wonder the Roosters got rid of him.

Newcastle's next coach has more to fix than you'd think
