Certainly, it is really unfortunate but hopefully, he will be fit and firing come finals time.

South Sydney's race to the finals: Can Bunnies avenge 2021 heartbreak?

Dangerous for opposition teams. By that, I mean I personally wouldn’t want to go up against a firing Latrell Mitchell and co.

I understand that, but Roosters v Rabbitohs is more than just a game of league. Plus for the opening of the new Allianz Stadium, “resting the whole team” would hand the Roosters the win. Of course, I have faith in our depth, but our season is still technically not done yet. Where Penrith stay first whether they win or lose, Souths can still move down the ladder, technically.

I understand that fully, hopefully they can find some might against those heavy-weight teams. With that being said they have the ability to perform, it is a matter of consistently performing at the moment.

I agree, Souths need to maintain their form and keep a strong mindset and they are capable of great success in this finals series.

Thank you!
I should have kept that in mind there is a small certainty that Souths can end up fifth. However, I’m hoping for a South Sydney win against the Roosters.

I understand that view, I have spoken to others about that exact topic. However, Lachlan is still quite young and still has many years to grow ahead of him.

I didn’t say that nor implied it. I’m sorry if what I said came across that way, I wasn’t trying to insult Penrith with my comment.

Can in-form Souths topple the Panthers?

I’ve supported the team since I was a kid, my dad grew up in Redfern and rugby league was always a part of me, especially the Rabbits. I try not to make comments personal, I’m sure it was just a misreading of what I said. However thank you for understanding.

Can in-form Souths topple the Panthers?

That’s fair to say for a team to beat Penrith they need to be almost perfect, especially with the versatility of their playing group.

Can in-form Souths topple the Panthers?

I’m not trying to cause a stir or anything, I’m just trying to cover the thing I love ahaha.

Can in-form Souths topple the Panthers?

I wasn’t saying that sorry for the miscommunication.

Can in-form Souths topple the Panthers?

I most certainly agree with that. Whoever puts in the most effort for the full 80 tonight will win the clash.

Can in-form Souths topple the Panthers?

That’s understandable. Tonight will determine whether that’s right or not, hopefully, the Rabbitohs can win.

Can in-form Souths topple the Panthers?

Not out of the picture!

Can in-form Souths topple the Panthers?

That’s understandable, however, I am not in doubt, personally.

Can in-form Souths topple the Panthers?

Yeah, that’s understandable. I agree JFH is a large part of Penrith’s plays, he has averaged 147 run meters this year and that may be missed dearly through their middles. Like I said previously Penrith did put on a defensive display last week keeping Melbourne to nil in the second half. Hopefully, it will be a good game.

Can in-form Souths topple the Panthers?

Well as a Souths supporter since young I hope the same.

The influence of Latrell Mitchell: South Sydney Rabbitohs vs Parramatta Eels

It can be argued that the Rabbitohs weren’t fully in unison earlier on during the season (understandable considering they had to build new combinations and live up to last season’s expectations). Which I believe majorly contributed to Latrell’s ‘lacking game’ against the Panthers in round 4. However, I do believe that with Campbell Graham and Lachlan Ilias coming back this week, as well as, coming off of a tremendous performance against the Eels this time round will be different if they up-hold form.

The influence of Latrell Mitchell: South Sydney Rabbitohs vs Parramatta Eels

You could be right about that. Latrell is a completely different beast during finals, it is unfortunate he has been unable to play for Souths in the last two finals series. If Latrell maintains the form he is in and as you said above remains fit the Rabbitohs will be potential contenders this season and could threaten any team in with the right mindset.

The influence of Latrell Mitchell: South Sydney Rabbitohs vs Parramatta Eels

I most certainly agree with that. The Rabbitohs are hitting deadly form coming into finals and if they maintain this same energy and mindset they are genuine threats to the heavyweight teams which they coming up against in the next 3 weeks.

The influence of Latrell Mitchell: South Sydney Rabbitohs vs Parramatta Eels

I think that, as a whole, the entire Rabbitohs team needs to be on. Parramatta can shut down Rabbitohs’ plays if they don’t start fast through their middles. Latrell’s X-factor skillset is best displayed off the back of an intense start. Both Parramatta and Souths both have powerful forward packs and I believe both teams will be up for the challenge.

The influence of Latrell Mitchell: South Sydney Rabbitohs vs Parramatta Eels

I definitely agree with that, Latrell is still a growing player in the game and his abilities are only getting better. With the changing South Sydney developing a variety of combinations Latrell’s game is only going to get better. I honestly can’t wait to see what he is going to produce tonight against the Eels.

Also thank you for the kind regards.
