Thanks mate and commiserations to our greatest rivals and finest rugby nation

THE GREATEST! Boks beat All Blacks in instant classic to claim record FOURTH RWC in controversial, dramatic final

I would say that’s two finals in a row from PSDT – he was immense in 2019 as well

THE GREATEST! Boks beat All Blacks in instant classic to claim record FOURTH RWC in controversial, dramatic final

Thank you mate. I thought the ABs were superb – team did you proud but there has to be a winner and today it was us. Another day and it’s you. All the best from this Bok supporter

THE GREATEST! Boks beat All Blacks in instant classic to claim record FOURTH RWC in controversial, dramatic final

Thank you ABs for this dance – it was titanic and like a lot of our matches could have literally gone either way. Wasn’t sure we would have enough in the tank for this match but I have never felt more proud of the Boks in this win. Back to back and beat 5 out of the top 6. Go Boks!

Always thought he was a talented player but at the time he left the Stormers were packed with locks/hybrids. Etzebeth, PSDT, Rynhardt Elstadt, JD Schickerling, Dave Ribbans, Kobus van Dyk, Chris van Zyl … glad we got him back in the end

'Absolutely insane': The World Cup final player who can't believe he's made the cut

Exactly!

Five things: World Cup final represents good and evil as All Blacks and Springboks face off

but Im sure he called the Wales v Boks semi in 2019 a instant classic… not

UK VIEW: 'Utter heartbreak' for 'brilliant, cunning, courageous' Poms in WC semi 'undeservedly' won by Boks

Cant fool us mate – everyone knows the ABs are the Empire and Foster is actually emperor Palpatine

Five things: World Cup final represents good and evil as All Blacks and Springboks face off

Semis were always due to be a fizzer after the quarters

The ABs were clinical and rampant but there was hardly any contest to it.. it actually got boring watching the procession of tries…

The other semi – lets just call that game for what it was – gritty, drama filled…and awful

When you have an average ruck speed over 6 sec so you can set up to kick nearly all your possession away then you maybe deemed courageous” but you are also very limited. Which is exactly how England have been throughout the tournament. The difference maker being the weather fit the game plan this time and it almost worked…

Boks themselves were very poor – dare I say it – looked very tired/flat. Gone was the sharpness from the previous week and in its place bumbling ineptitude in dealing with the wet ball and naivety in returning it to the impressive Steward & co without the tactics and 2m lumber they used to disrupt the French. Fortunately they had an Ox sized set-piece get out of jail card and Georges candidate for worst lineout throw ever to thank for the win. Boks will be hoping for a parallel to 2019 with the Welsh semi (interesting certain members of the NH fan club who decried that game are now calling this one a classic) dip and lift for the final.

Lets hope the final is closer to the quarters experience than this week – go Boks!

The Wrap: There's a reason Boks and All Blacks are at the big boys' table - the rest have to earn their way onto it

Saffas living outside of SA sure.. but its a no no in-country… took me 14 years of living in Oz to adopt into my daily vernacular lol

England's Curry accused Bongi Mbonambi of vile racial insult - but Boks fans have alternative explanation

Drama – yes. Spectacle – no. Conditions a large part of it but very average match. Hope this is the dip for the Boks and next week is much better

'What you live for': Boks beat England in World Cup EPIC to set up mouth-watering final against All Blacks

totally agree – its often so easy to focus inward and on the bad things in rugby… but you look at how much games meant to other countries, the play and their support and it really makes you appreciate the games as whole

The Wrap: Why that was the All Blacks' greatest ever RWC win - but the road to fourth title is still a rough one

He deserves the pile on for that campaign fiasco but if he is staying then you need to back him… whats probably more important now will be the assistant coaches needed for the rebuild…

Eddie Jones says he needs to 'give myself an uppercut' but '100 percent' committed to coaching Wallabies

mate – not sure where I saw it but the reception they got at the airport on the return flight was next level… awesome to see!

The Wrap: Why that was the All Blacks' greatest ever RWC win - but the road to fourth title is still a rough one

Yep – hope Rasnaber dont get too cute with rest rotation as we still need to win this game

The Wrap: Why that was the All Blacks' greatest ever RWC win - but the road to fourth title is still a rough one

if the much larger FIFA world cup can be done 8 months out .. then pretty sure Rugby can do a bit better than 3 years

The Wrap: Why that was the All Blacks' greatest ever RWC win - but the road to fourth title is still a rough one

Two faux pas from Galthie – keeping du Pont out and taking Jalibert off – Ramos at 10 was when France starting unravelling – that backwards drop out kick and kick out on the full were terrible for a kicker of his class

The Wrap: Why that was the All Blacks' greatest ever RWC win - but the road to fourth title is still a rough one

Ireland had to go full tonk for the Scots game though or risk missing out entirely… wasnt really a choice but I think they err’d earlier on with the full strength teams vs Romania and Tonga

The Wrap: Why that was the All Blacks' greatest ever RWC win - but the road to fourth title is still a rough one

Two coaching failures – always easy in hindsight

Farrell not taking off Sexton earlier and Galthie taking off Jalibert. Still trying to wrap my head around the physics of his negative distance drop out kick

The Wrap: Why that was the All Blacks' greatest ever RWC win - but the road to fourth title is still a rough one

things have never been more even – those four teams have been amazing for the game… unfortunately its a knock out and someone has to lose and its the knockout games that count

Unbelievable weekend of rugby.. every single match was tight and dramatic – no blow outs, not all to the same skill and precision levels but damn good viewing

The Wrap: Why that was the All Blacks' greatest ever RWC win - but the road to fourth title is still a rough one

what we got were semi final quality games a week early – amazing games!
