You’re right about Al Baxter. He’s served the Wallabies and had a second lease of life, but he’s not going to be around for the RWC. So what was Deans thinking? Coaches aren’t going to tell anybody about strategy, we’re left to guess. Gits or Cooper. Or maybe Barnes. Or maybe he’s thinking O’Connor at 5/8. Why keep the makeup of a team secret when the opposition plans for every contingency anyway? It drives me nuts.
