Not lecturing either mate, or offering an opinion. More or less just wrote a silly comment for a bit of fun. Anyway as you say aus rugby seems a bit of a shambles right now and it might seem hard to feel positive about much well you know what they say.
Some things in life are bad,
They can really make you mad.
Other things just make you swear and curse.
When you’re chewing on life’s gristle,
Don’t grumble, give a whistle!
And this’ll help things turn out for the best
And
Always look on the bright side of life!
Always look on the bright side of life
If life seems jolly rotten,
There’s something you’ve forgotten!
And that’s to laugh and smile and dance and sing,
When you’re feeling in the dumps,
Don’t be silly chumps,
Just purse your lips and whistle — that’s the thing!
And always look on the bright side of life
Come on!
Always look on the bright side of life
For life is quite absurd,
And death’s the final word.
You must always face the curtain with a bow!
Forget about your sin — give the audience a grin,
Enjoy it, it’s the last chance anyhow!
So always look on the bright side of death!
Just before you draw your terminal breath.
Life’s a piece of sh#t,
When you look at it.
Life’s a laugh and death’s a joke, it’s true,
You’ll see it’s all a show,
Keep ’em laughing as you go.
Just remember that the last laugh is on you!
And always look on the bright side of life

Always look on the bright side of life

Come on guys, cheer up

Always look on the bright side of life

Always look on the bright side of life

Worse things happen at sea you know

Always look on the bright side of life

I mean, what have you got to lose?
you know, you come from nothing
you’re going back to nothing
what have you lost? Nothing!

All new Wallabies: The Dave Rennie brief

WWhhooooo ease off on the devil’s lettuce there sheek. You’ll become prone to bouts of self reflection and empathy. As some famous hippy once sang….. all we are sayingggggggg is give Dave a chance.

All new Wallabies: The Dave Rennie brief

Laumape is a 12 only. Big part of the reason he’s not going I’d say.

All Blacks name imposing World Cup squad, complete with shock omissions

White was motm amongst several strong performances

Wallabies beat All Blacks after dominant second half in Bledisloe 1

I might be mistaken but I think I saw him in the coaches box at an NPC game Saturday arvo in nz….. maybe he jumped straight onto a flight to Perth afterwards??

Wallabies beat All Blacks after dominant second half in Bledisloe 1

maybe danny, but so far i haven’t been impressed. he scored a few good tries but none that most decent wingers wouldn’t score. his effort on defence has been poor which is i guess forgivable as he’s learning but what really stood out to me was a lack of urgency. on kick chase i’ve seen a few times where as soon as he realises that he won’t be first there he slows to a jog. this is something which is easy to change, just concerning its not there as an automatically. at this stage at least i’d much prefer the goose….

Crusaders, Hurricanes reveal teams for semi-finals

thats a good point neutral. can’t say it was his only option. he’s a sought after man and you would think that he’ll put a lot of passion into coaching the chiefs.

Warren Gatland heading back to New Zealand to coach the Chiefs

bring back blackadder

Warren Gatland heading back to New Zealand to coach the Chiefs

i like that redistribution of coaches very much, mostly get razor away from those flipping crusaders.

Warren Gatland heading back to New Zealand to coach the Chiefs

I thought I knew it, then I thought I didn’t, now it turns out I did. What a rollercoaster that was.

Warren Gatland heading back to New Zealand to coach the Chiefs

Doh!! Oh well, would have made a good story.

Cooper steps down as Chiefs coach

Not at all… could it be part of a plan to lure Gatland back to nz without having to give him the abs job straight away. Or is Gatland already tied up somewhere else?

Cooper steps down as Chiefs coach

Well there is a comparison in that its polarising but beyond that……nope.

Doubt hunt was suggesting any other comparison

Hunt: Folau's doing just fine ahead of D-Day

good that hunt is in communication with folau as someone who has gone through a sort of similar situation. it does sort of sound a bit like at least the tahs are, without directly saying so, keen to have him back. Kapernick comparison is an interesting one, hadn’t thought about that. there are certainly some broad similarities, but also some major differences.

Hunt: Folau's doing just fine ahead of D-Day

yes it was encouraging and needed. jordie put in a few great tackles as well. TJ has always been an excellent defensively but he was bossing those scrums, luckily the ref let him do what he did (some of it was borderline) or surely the blues would have scored at some point.

Super Rugby Round 14 teams: Quade Cooper cleared to face Bulls; three changes for Tahs

Not for me. I agree it’s not 100% fair etc etc but it’s an international comp and seems right that as many nations are represented as possible. For all nz rugby we have M10 cup. I hope the rebels and the jags make it to the finals, want the canes to win, but will be happy so long as it’s not the crusaders, or the tahs….

The home straight: Ranking every Super Rugby team's chances

Seriously Neil really? The impact on the country was huge, but the impact was a result of the attacks not by any perceived political posturing.

The home straight: Ranking every Super Rugby team's chances

The rebels have been very inconsistent yes but suggesting that they only have one game plan means you didn’t catch the game they played against the hurricanes. First half they tried to match the canes with running helter skelter rugby, it did not work. Second half they tightened up, took all the speed out of the game and had the better of the canes (still not enough). I must say though that they have been disappointing this year they have a great team on paper.

Get back out there you girls blouse!!!

Super Rugby Round 14 teams: Quade Cooper cleared to face Bulls; three changes for Tahs

Ok interesting. Thanks for that.

Super Rugby Round 14 teams: Quade Cooper cleared to face Bulls; three changes for Tahs

yup jimmy without BBBBB they have looked a bit rudderless this season. I think james marshall is a good player but only ever saw him as a back up utility who could maybe play 10. Not sure why they aren’t starting a specialist 10, fletcher smith hasn’t looked convincing so far despite a good M10 season also garden bashop looked good for wellington but hasn’t really had much of a chance at all this season. TJ is going to have to step up and run things a bit i think. Jags looked good last week but seemed to be reffed out of it when they made their final push in the last 1/4

Super Rugby Round 14 teams: Quade Cooper cleared to face Bulls; three changes for Tahs

anyone know what the HIA test involves?

Super Rugby Round 14 teams: Quade Cooper cleared to face Bulls; three changes for Tahs

i would be taking it as a compliment if i were quade. i know what you mean with english, i think he is good and used to think he deserved a go at international level but what I’ve seen this year isn’t compelling form. i guess meakes getting a run at 13 might be okay but they are 2 different positions, some can play both but not all. i think with toomua at 12 you would want someone with either flair or tackle busting ability outside him. with kerevi at 12 maybe someone more solid and dependable. i think toomua fits the bench role for the wallabies well covering 10 and 12, if he is playing well. if he’s playing really well then i think starting at 10 because i think kerevi has to be at 12

Toomua makes early move to Rebels

id agree there olly that he should/could have been wallabies 10 but seemed to be given a very brief chance (i can only recall that he played the abs) and then didn’t get much of a look. hard to say what he’d be like if he’d been given a bit more of a chance, perhaps eased into it a bit more than he was.. but he’s certainly a good player and even though he gets put at 12 i think he sees himself as a 10.

Toomua makes early move to Rebels

good news for the rebels. where does he fit in though? is he back up for meeks and cooper or is he taking over from one of them. I’d like to see him get a bit more time at 10 as he would make a good bench option for the wallabies covering both 10 and 12. also cooper probably could do with a bit of a rest every now and then. finally i’d like to congratulate cooper on finally being recognised for what he is, a 31 year old stylist.
