So what are the contract values of the top 9 at Souths from last year.
Mitchell, Johnston, Walker, Reynolds, Cook, Murray, Arrow, Burgess plus one more for arguments sake. If you take those 8 guys and average them at 600 that’s 4.8 for 8 players, if you average 9 players at 600 that’s 5.4.

Roosters sign Storm star Smith

I’m suprised that Munster needed to go to rehab to find a way to enjoy himself without alcohol, isn’t that how he got into trouble in the first place 👍 good luck to him and hope he has a great season. If I was going to drop a million on a player for the Dolphins I would go Munster before Ponga, in a quality side Ponga is worth that, not sure if you could build a club around him.

Around the Grounds: Dolphins will wait for Ponga, Munster’s weight loss, Hastings' role locked in

When I look at 1 through 7 on that list, Croker is the weakest link in that backline. Maybe as the Barry said at 100% fitness he’ll be fine, absolute champion but it may be getting close to the end for him.
If Canberra can field a consistent line-up for the majority of the season they will end up in the top half of the bottom half of the top eight, that was confusing. Let’s just say 6th 👍

NRL 2022 Radar: Canberra must find X-factor in forwards to make finals return

Munster is the key, if he can keep to a plan instead of clocking off even when things aren’t working for them, then they can win it. As much as it pains me to say, I’m looking forward to seeing him play in 22 👍

NRL 2022 Radar: Scandals cast cloud on Melbourne but Bellamy can weather all storms

I’m the one or two, 5th for mine. I’m not sure if the Storm spine is the most potent in the NRL, Paps still looked a bit off towards the end of the season, Hughes is probably the best running half in the game, Grant is developing well and it all depends on which Munster shows up.
Don’t forget that Parra beat them twice and that they don’t have the Goat to get them out of those really tough spots, Munster throws most of his toys out of the cot when he’s getting pumped.
So in summary, Melbourne on the way down, 5th place finish…. does anyone have a rag? there appears to be some egg….. 😁

Who’s on the market that you can replace Gutho or Junior with? Not to many, they got Hodgson for Mahoney and kept Gutho and Junior, very well summed up 👍

Is replacing young gun Reed Mahoney with an ageing Josh Hodgson a gamble the Eels should be taking?

I believe they have rankings to seed the teams for the early stages of a world cup or similar, this allows the better team to be placed in seperate groups or pools and allows them to meet further into the competition, or at least that’s how I believe it works. Hope that has helped 👍

Australia ranked fourth for 2022 Rugby League World Cup

There appears to be a massive “crack” in the wall 👍

Around the Grounds: Ponga’s incredible act, Finch opens on drug battle, Latrell update

The point that the reasoning sounds close to pathetic to you is that your head space is probably a lot clearer that theirs, if that makes sense. What may seem trivial to you may be a massive thing to them, not condoning or endorsing just can sympathise with some people when they make poor choices 👍

I don’t believe that will be possible unless Parramatta are not allowed to play for points in 22, do you know something I dont 👍

NRL 2022 Radar: Rabbitohs contenders again but super skinny depth a major concern

I’ve got a feeling that the deal was done a while ago, hence why they let Mahoney go. It’s just pure speculation on my part but it also makes sense to me, as a Parra fan I’m pretty happy TBH. It’s a solid squad and as long as we beat the Storm 3 times next year…… 👍

I think I understand why BA has done this. I feel he will let Hodgson run the team positionally in a Storm/Cam Smith way, hopefully this frees up Moses to play off the cuff a bit more. You could not say signing Hodgson is a bad thing but only time will tell.
I think next season we will see Gutho coming through the middle a lot more and hopefully a lot more of Moses getting into the line.
I suppose my point is multi them up as Premiers in a leg, you heard it here first and you’ll are welcome 👍

My point is Asiata made a choice, the pressure assigned to that is based on monetary vs ethical and personal values, or at least that is what I assume Asiata is trying to balance. The more you are opposed to something the harder the choice becomes to do that thing, people who are less opposed find it easier, hence why this is a touchy subject, can’t find any common ground so I’ll leave it at that, Cheers

Bulldogs part with premiership winner over vaccine refusal in an NRL first

I 100 percent agree with you, he was forced to give up the NRL. I have never said he wasn’t forced to give up the NRL, he was forced to give up the NRL because he chose not to get vaccinated. You said that exact same thing, that he chose to not get vaccinated. The issue I had was your original position that he was being forced to get vaccinated.

Nah, never changed what you wrote once, simply quoted the bit where you said Asiata had a choice, never changed my argument and never changed anything you said, the only point I have ever debated with you was if Asiata is being forced to be vaccinated, I haven’t misinterpreted any thing that you have written, the only thing I took issue with is that it was being stated that Asiata was being forced. It has ben my point the whole time

I have not changed my position once throughout this rather long discussion 👍

Bulldogs part with premiership winner over vaccine refusal in an NRL first

Never said anything about obeying, you’re attributing things to me that I have never mentioned or said and then basing your response on what you percieve my position to be, the only thing I have mentioned here is that Asiata has not been forced, a point you eventually agreed with and now you are assuming to understand my position on a subject that I have never mentioned my position on.
In the words of a famous sponge
“Aight imma head out”

When have I ever said I was following, you just said that Asiata had a choice and basically went against the very position you were arguing. You have 180ed from him being forced to he has a choice and now that you found out your position is flawed from the outset you have changed tack and gone down the sheeple path, I probably should have seen that coming a while ago

I was referring to current argument, not what happened 45 years ago

“he chose not to get the jab”
That has been my point all along, I have never stated whether I thought it was fair or not. As I have quoted you above, you have agreed that he had a choice about vaccination, so you agree that he was not forced. I don’t care about the other stuff, just the fact that you were constantly saying he was forced to get vaccinated, now you agree that he had a choice, that was my point all along. It took some time to agree but we are here now 👍

Jacko, can you show me where Asiata is being forced to get a Vaccination, not getting vaccinated is a choice, has Asiata been vaccinated? No he has not so he made a choice, a choice not to get vaccinated. My murder comment was to highlight conditions in contracts or enterprise agreements in so much as they don’t have to be black and white say exactly what you can and can’t do in order for you be dismissed. It wasn’t a real world example, sorry for the confusion

I make my own choice pretty simple

Bulldogs part with premiership winner over vaccine refusal in an NRL first

Yeah mate I’ve read the whole thing, I work for a large employer in my state, they have multiple arms or streams, all of these streams are controlled by the one overreaching authority, but all have different vaccination requirements. The Bulldogs have set there own policy and Asiata has not complied with it

I have absolutely no objection to people choosing not to be vaccinated, it is their freedom of choice although it is not free from consequences.
My employer is going to mandate it shortly and I will certainly not have to sign a new employment agreement, it will be covered under a compliance with organisational WH and S policy or a similar clause.
It’s like me murdering someone at work and then claiming my employment contact didnt say I must not murder anyone therefore you can’t terminate me for it, as you said “it’s not that hard” 👍
