Well summed up Zozza. Just an incredible match. I still can’t find any sleep.

And exhaustion sums it up…

England win World Cup final in thrilling super over finish against New Zealand

G’day Doug,

I’ve written about Mary and the Dragons two out of the last four weeks, and being the final game this weekend with me having other commitments (i.e. Cricket World Cup final), I just didn’t have the time to give them a run.

Yeah – they will probably get played right back into form.

Canberra, Melbourne, heck even Cronulla if they can get back to where they were. This comp is far from set in stone.

C’mon Geoff – you know I think the Raiders are playing bloody awesome footy. I was already on the cricket by the time that game was half done and had run out of points at any rate. I’ve written plenty about the Raiders this year…

Ha, mate that series this summer will be brilliant.

I just want a good game of cricket. Again, don’t really care who wins.

Sure, Lance’s sanctions are what he deserves, but sport needs more podcasts like this – it’s telling it as it is with no fear of getting someone offside.

Cycling is just so much better with Lance Armstrong involved

Absolutely not.

Nail on the head Jeff. I couldn’t care less who wins. I dislike New Zealand and England equally.

Good stuff Mary,

Agree with the DRS point, but I think it’s all financial. The boards and TV networks are obviously already putting a fair bit into this series, and getting the Test televised (where it wasn’t last time in Australia) is a good step in the right direction.

I can’t remember the costs quoted when I saw them, but the DRS is an astronomical amount added on to the broadcasts, so I can only assume it boils down to that.

Women's Ashes: Talking points so far

Hi Carlos,
Ignoring your barb about being sacked, the piece quite clearly states 5:35pm (AEST – or “Aussie time”)… The only reference to 7:35pm is local time, meaning Christchurch time, which is when the game is scheduled to kick-off. The only way it would be a 3:35pm kick-off in Australia is if it was scheduled to kick-off at 5:35pm in New Zealand, and it’s not, so…
