An 18 year old who loves all sports, namely the likes of AFL, cricket, tennis and NFL. Scott Pendlebury, Adam Gilchrist and Tom Brady are a part of my all-time favourites.

Lroy if it was about the players in the team it would have been Brisbane at number one, but my article was on the game plan, so that’s why Geelong and Collingwood are ranked 1 and 2 ahead of Brisbane at 3.
What is the AFL's best game plan?

Stars need to make sure that they don’t suffer from complacency. They need to finish off strongly and stay motivated and not fall into the same trap the Renegades did last year. The Hurricanes will play with no fear as they have nothing to lose, so hopefully the Stars can keep up the good form and secure a home semi final.
BBL preview: Melbourne Stars vs Hobart Hurricanes
Marsh has only prospered in one test innings and a few ODI’s, White has been one of the very best Victorian players for quite a few years now. The selectors are going back on their rule that they pick whoever is the best players, no matter how old they are. Boof needs to exert himself more into the selections as the current selectors are hypocrites.
How did Marsh get picked over White?
Passionate_Aussie I have another one. In the Third Test at Perth in the second innings an opening batsman was bowled first ball. In 2006/07 it was Langer bowled by Hoggard and in 2013/14 it was Cook bowled by Harris!
Comparing the 2006/07 Ashes to the 2013/14 series
Looking back Clarke as skipper would have been a better choice, but I chose Langer over Warner just because Hayden and Warner together would have been all smash, whereas Langer always balanced out the opening partnership, just like Rogers does with Warner. But I definitely would keep Clark in as his series was amazing. Haddin also performed better during the series than Gilly did in 2006/07. I am a huge fan of Gilly but I had to choose who did better in each series, and Haddin was almost man of the series in 2013/14. Thanks for all of your opinions!
The dream Aussie Ashes team from 2006/07 and 2013/14
No worries Marty I’m happy to have anyone comment on my articles! Thank you very much and great pick up yet again!
Comparing the 2006/07 Ashes to the 2013/14 series
Passionate_Aussie yes they surely will, especially since Australia have won their past couple of tours to South Africa. But at least now we have a good 7-8 players who pick themselves, unlike last year where we only had 2-3. We will also have this Ashes memories with us forever so no matter what happens in South Africa, we will still have the Ashes!
Comparing the 2006/07 Ashes to the 2013/14 series
It is a very interesting topic, isn’t it Passionate_Aussie ?
Comparing the 2006/07 Ashes to the 2013/14 series
Passionate_Aussie it is very hard to compare but I would say that the current English team would be worse considering that the current Australian side isn’t as nearly as good as the side that won 5-0 in 2006/07. In 2006/07 they had Langer, Hayden, Ponting, Martyn, Hussey, Symonds, Clarke, Gilchrist, Warne, McGrath, Clark and Lee. In 2013/14 the Aussies only had Clarke, as well as Haddin, Warner, Smith, Johnson and Harris who performed better than usual.
Comparing the 2006/07 Ashes to the 2013/14 series
I didn’t say that Gilchrist saved Australia, I just highlighted how both of them made one century during each series.
Comparing the 2006/07 Ashes to the 2013/14 series
I was about to put Khawaja in but then Bailey killed India so that did it for me. Plus Maddinson can’t debut by opening in an Ashes series, If Maddinson is to play it has to be either down the order or later in the series. And Watson cannot bat at number 3, he doesn’t have the temperament.
My Australian XI for the first Ashes Test
Is it ok if I try doing a squad for the test myself too?

The Australian XI for the first Ashes Test
Well done max! Only thing I disagree is the Collingwood prediction, Jessie White and/or Sam Reid will make a huge difference at Collingwood! Very well done though, excellent stuff!

At least they improved by seasons end! And looking back it should be GWS not bulldogs, as bulldogs narrowly beat the giants around then.

Some of the free kicks were soft to Hawthorn, like Franklin and Roughead’s, but the holding the ball call that gifted Rioli a goal was fair, as the Freo defender did drag it back in. At times I thought they were being bias, but it evened up by the end and it was only a touch in the Hawks favour, which it is always slightly in favour of the winning team as they normally get to the ball first.
