Whilst I agree City struggled with penetrating opposition defence, for the first third of the season, 6 of their 12 goals scored came from dead ball scenarios despite being lauded heavily as being a “team to beat”. With recent news of the possibility of Toivonen being out. I’m even reconsidering it being such a high scoring game, could easily go 1-0 either way

I do agree with you about Brisbane’s pre season looking the goods, and it’s very true the result could be the inverse of my prediction. However Lionheart I think you’re underestimating the effect Pep’s visit could have on the side. This is a manager who will go down in history as one of the greatest of all time, we shouldn’t shun whatever influence he might have had on the City side. This coupled with the most recent result between the clubs is what motivated my prediction in the favour of City.

Personally I can see the game going either way. Whilst I think that this Central Coast side will shock us tonight. I can also see Adelaide coming out and silencing doubters of theirs from the Transfer Period. Should be an interesting one.
