Biltong I agree that the TMO has done nothing to improve the entertainment factor in rugby. The ‘bunker’ approach in league is better. Personally I’d be happy to go back to no tmo and the ref as sole judge
Killing the spectacle helps nobody
Rugby News: 'Pack dented, and the jersey' - new coach's plan to save ABs, Mo'unga's Foster verdict, Dagg bags union
I’d point the finger at the whole pack, don’t know why the loosies are singled out. We were beaten in the scrum, lineout and at the breakdown. Of the three the breakdown was almost our best domain. A lot of people lambasted the English but they performed the basics extremely well and left it up to us to make errors
We need props who can win a scrum without getting penalised, we need a reliable ball off the lineout and we need to be able to deal with the massive packs world rugby presents. The loose forwards are just one of many areas to improve
Wallabies' backrow punch was lacking vs England but is crucial for Argentina
Markus that’s the funniest post of the year to date 😂 😂
Wallabies' backrow punch was lacking vs England but is crucial for Argentina
Well you got it correct that game!
A mate of mine was an scg member and always left early to beat the traffic. Missed the close of play where Steve Waugh scored a ton off the final delivery
REACTION: 'Like we didn't know each other' - Foster facing heat as Ireland stun All Blacks with famous series win
He’s a great player,I used to love watching him play with Mackenzie for the Chiefs. Maybe the strategy of picking big AB wingers like Naholo and Savea isn’t as good as picking all round footballers like Lowe?
REACTION: 'Like we didn't know each other' - Foster facing heat as Ireland stun All Blacks with famous series win
I never understand people who leave the game early. It worked out for you in that match but you couldn’t know it at the time. The wallabies could have scored and won the game to a grandstand finish and you would have missed it. If traffic is your priority then why not watch from home?
REACTION: 'Like we didn't know each other' - Foster facing heat as Ireland stun All Blacks with famous series win
It was really bizarre to see so many errors from an all black side. 4-5 knock ons at least. Even with that they got the score to 25-22 with 20 mins to go. Ireland won the breakdown and turnovers really got them out of trouble on multiple occasions. NZ also kicked a lot of ball away which looked odd as they declined to run the ball. The Irish attack outshone the AB attack

Well let’s not forget that it will be a game of two halves
'He'll be in a better place': Tupou ready to step up after tough return, Wallabies aim to expose England fatigue factor
Surely you’ll have something more important to say on the day you die?
South Africa pull out of ODI series with Australia
As an impartial watching the NZ IRE game I thought that red was crazy. Just an unlucky event that neither player planned for
The Wrap: Yes, rugby needs fixing, but not for the reasons most people think
For such a masculine game, the phrase ‘balls out’ does get used a lot in rugby
Rugby News: Suli must go 'balls out' to earn jersey, Eddie says Test is 'practice for World Cup', Aus A team to play Fiji
Great summary BF. Congrats on the win and a cracking summer so far!
It’s very strange as an Aussie to be enjoying the performance of the English cricket team but the style is irresistible
England on the verge of another stunning win as BazBall Bairstow delivers again
Wouldn’t fancy playing them at home this summer. I’d be setting 500+ got them to chase in the final innings. Would even that be enough?
In Australia I suspect it would be the same old story
It will be interesting to see how their new approach lasts
England on the verge of another stunning win as BazBall Bairstow delivers again
Agree Simon what a run of form, very entertaining to watch. I just couldn’t believe they’ve come back again after the first innings lead India held
So that squares the series 2-2? What a farce. Let’s hope playing test series over a 12 month gap doesn’t catch on and let’s hope India don’t turn tail mid series again
England on the verge of another stunning win as BazBall Bairstow delivers again
I once tried Viagra but the tablet got stuck in my throat. I had a stiff neck for days
England on the verge of another stunning win as BazBall Bairstow delivers again
So slap rugby has to keep waiting for its inauguration?
😢
Rugby News: England star off home, Swain cited but Barrett, Hill and Jones off scot free, Poms cancel 'social' after loss
Awesome, they can smack each other around with an open hand with impunity. Should make for a great contest this week
Rugby News: England star off home, Swain cited but Barrett, Hill and Jones off scot free, Poms cancel 'social' after loss
It would be good to have Quade available but Kerevi is the more important import. Keeping him fit and playing is vital. There’s a few back up options at 10 but there’s daylight after kerevi, kept us in the match last week
Rugby News: England star off home, Swain cited but Barrett, Hill and Jones off scot free, Poms cancel 'social' after loss
Good comparison
ANALYSIS: 'The silver lining is a mirage - England have lost their aura and confidence'
????????????
REACTION: 'Effing wild!' - Cooper crocked, Banks broken and Swain sent off - but Wallabies overcome chaos
That’s the bigger worry. Hopefully Topou is fit
REACTION: 'Effing wild!' - Cooper crocked, Banks broken and Swain sent off - but Wallabies overcome chaos
When is it a habit and when is it haughty? 😂 😂
It's time for the Wallabies to front up against ancient foes, and this is how they should do it
Sheesh Nick why do you always have to resort to stats and facts and talking rugby? Can’t we just spend the whole thread speculating on Owen Farrell’s personality again?
It's time for the Wallabies to front up against ancient foes, and this is how they should do it
Great summary Bushie
I would add that all out attack is brilliant when it comes off but it doesn’t always come off. On that day it just looks like everybody threw their wicket away. There is definitely a tendency in the modern t20 bred cricketer to want to play attacking cricket and to want to play it fast. Stoic, patient, grinding test cricket still has a place in the modern game. Eng have Root who is more than capable of this, perhaps the best in the world but he needs company. I was impressed with Alex Lees but Crawley and Pope were disappointing overall
Well done England on what turned out to be an emphatic victory, one I certainly didn’t predict. All three games were in the balance and were compelling viewing for the neutral fan
UK Reaction: 'Bazball' has completely transformed England's cricket side in one series
Didn’t see it Jacko as im not a league fan but any system will make mistakes. It’s a fallacy to think that the video ref can circumvent wrong decisions altogether.
The benefit of the bunker is that it’s quick. Who wants to see the union tmo pore over every angle for 10 mins? Get on with the game
