Agree Edward’s at the back will give NSW a great No 1 now and into the future to overlook him may be a detriment to the team moving forward

Blues Origin predicted team: Another body blow for Madge as Turbo ruled out of Origin, Murray also gone

I said it before last years SOO he is too injury prone ( due to carrying manly for too long) he is a great player no doubt but this is a blessing for NSW they don’t need a repeat of Turbo being injured and not having a bench able to cover the loss and creating a point of attack for QLD

I do my think he has to prove anything but I would like to see home at a different club to see what happens

'What am I going to do if I'm not doing this?': No slowing down as Bellamy signs on for 23rd year with Storm

He has form when it come to player development

Craig is a great coach and clearly still has the goods but I would like to see him do the same thing with a different club

As a south’s supporter I’d just like to be able to get a lead at the moment

While contact with the head was made you could probably point out numerous instances of similar contact that was not punished or challenged by the Captain

NRL News: Latrell returns a changed man - Hornby, 'Our game is finished' fumes Fatty at Bunker after 'awful' penalty

Give players an off-season training schedule that keeps them at a standard that has them prepared for the beginning of preseason. If they choose not to follow it or do it then they are not professional. I used to train whilst on leave during my 20 plus year military career to ensure I was maintaining a professional standard of fitness for my job I know that the standard is different to an NRL football player but over the years I saw plenty on NRL teams using military training during preseason in part anyway and I witnessed many players loose there lunch and struggle with that training mentality and physically, in some cases it was clear too many beers had been caught up with during the off season.
Ten weeks of neglect and over indulging will rarely be reversed by two weeks of acclimatisation training. I suggest training at different times of the day is wise as these teams will often play at these times

Titmuss training session declared 'more likely than not inappropriate' as coroner details NRL recommendations

I have no idea what he will or won’t get what I do know regarding the punishments dished out is it’s a raffle and you might as well throw a dart at the dartboard in the dark wearing a blindfold to determine what one player gets over another. I think the days of any player intentionally trying to take another player out are gone because if proved it as I understand leave that player open to litigation and possible criminal charges.

Besieged Bunnies show some fight before Panthers flex their muscles - but Tago facing ban for dangerous hip drop

Mate I’d just like to get back to the point when I sit down to watch the game I have a feeling we could win before kick rather than I currently do which is I hope we at least compete for 80 mins.

Doesn’t help grey no matter how many weeks he gets.

How long after his debut did he win a premiership?

Andrew their is a lot to like about your dragons this year, good luck for the rest of the season.

The injury to Hawkins might be a blessing in disguise and get JW in the halves he seemed to bring some energy in that role tonight which seemed to wake Cody up from his slumber. Unfortunately I can’t see a light at the end of this tunnel yet Ben has a steep learning curve ahead of him I think and some players have some hard work ahead of themselves as they don’t look to be fit and the don’t appear to play like a fit football team should. Lads get out on the park and do some extras and build your motors not your muscles, train hard fight easy.

As a south’s supporter my only issue with Trell is the difference between his best and worst games. I don’t care that he is aboriginal or outspoken I only care about his efforts on the field.

Latrell is rugby league's clickbait magnet - and it's time to leave him alone

If I was a player at south’s I would be very concerned about playing past your current contract, the performance of these guys since R11 last year has been poor to say the least. Note that you performance on the field is what will set your value to a new club or have you back playing park footy in your home town after working a forty hour week as a labourer on a job site or something.

To me these guys seem to have lost passion for the game and have lost site how lucky they have been to play professionally something that for a lot of us fans would give almost anything to have done even for just one game, if only we had been more naturally talented, a bit faster, a bit stronger or bigger.

Now the players are not 100% at fault for JD sacking some administrators and JD played their part too, but as per usual it’s the coach that gets the axe. I would just like to remind those who sit at the top in the C level posts at the club what happened to us when administrators stuffed things up last time

'Success hasn't been forthcoming': Souths sack Demetriou after fractured board eventually decides time's up

Don’t try and apply logic to the NRL judiciary system, it an enigma wrapped in 3 conspiracies and dropped into a blender. I’m almost convinced they walk into a blacked out room and throw a dart at the wall to decide punishment.

NRL Round 7 judiciary: Knight gets ban for tunnel brawl, Tigers star facing ban, Roosters duo charged

Defence is a combination of effort and attitude any one who has played the game knows this.

Some players are clearly lacking the right attitude towards defence or not putting in the effort required.

Sometimes players need to just do the hard yards.

Rabbitohs call on veteran Furner to fix leaky defence

Exactly what have they said because if it was the old the board full backs the coach line AD is gone by the end of the bye week.

Demetriou to be 'given the time he needs' as Souths back coach - for now - after Mal all but turns down job

Once again the administration of the club is affecting the football of the club or as my mentor used to say to me the tail wagging the dog.

'It's a big fat no from me': Mal would pick Roos if made to choose as 'red flags' raised on any Souths deal

Mundine and Blacklock both great players but maybe they might not have suited the game plan the NSW selectors and coaches had at the time it’s not always going to be a good fit.

AJ is an awesome winger but he is not as solid as others in defence or bringing the ball back from kicks in general play as a south’s supporter I’m glad he missed SOO because I think it’s added longevity to his career at south’s

Why his latest ban could be best thing for Latrell’s career - or the beginning of the end

Could you see a Trell as a 5/8 we have seen how well he runs the ball and he can create with ball in hand as a running 5/8 he could be devastating

Why his latest ban could be best thing for Latrell’s career - or the beginning of the end

Walker should be playing NSW cup this week, being whiten into 5/8 and a centre up from NSW cup Braden Burns maybe

Rabbitohs rubbish Meninga rumour as Cook admits he's 'frustrated, angry and sad' over losing his spot

I see and to some degree agree with it, but to play devils advocate, the removal of the head coach and appointment of an interim coach for the rest of the season particularly a guy who has nothing to loose free to hold a few of these alleged senior players to account ie drop them to NSW cup for a few weeks, play them in a position thats best for the team rather than where they want to play.
