Mate if you don’t want to travel join the WAFL.

Hawthorn are not the best AFL club of the decade

Considering winning the premiership is the reason the game is played, you can’t be the best team of the decade if you’ve lost 2 out of 3 grandfinals

Hawthorn are not the best AFL club of the decade

Coulda woulda shoulda but didn’t.

Fremantle sacks Ross Lyon and CEO

“Freo finally clued into the fact that he’s a rubbish coach who will never win a flag with his game plan.”

Probably cause it took the ceo so long to realise that he’s a rubbish coach.

Leon Cameron should be added to the coaching scrap heap by the end of September.

It's now or never for Leon Cameron's Giants

Unless Albon sets the world on fire, he’ll be chewed up and spat out like so many before him.

Can Alex Albon succeed where Pierre Gasly failed?

It’s starting to get beyond a joke now, I wonder what this month’s parity adjustment will be.

Supercars Ipswich SuperSprint talking points

The worst example I saw was at a pub in Balmain during the 2014 GF. My family and I could not get tickets to travel to Melbourne. The Hawks destroyed us. Yet there were several Hawks supporters who constantly booed Goodes in that game in the pub, one calling him a “vicious dog”. When I asked him “why”. his answer was that he was a dirty backsniper who played for frees and slid in knees first. What codswallop!

So one person whom you’ve never met before perceives Goodes to be a vicious dog and a sniper answers your question about why he thinks that and because you don’t agree with them this automatically makes them racist?

Maybe the reason that they think that is because Goodes didn’t get cited for his dirty play because he was “St Adam”

The truth is no one will ever no the reason’s that Goodes was booed. Everyone perceives the situation from the angle that they are looking at it. I’ve always thought him to be abit overrated, of the 20 most common statistical categories he’s top 30 in 8 of them and top 10 in 4 of them. Compare to a Sam Mitchell who’s top 30 in 10,top 10 in 6 of them and top 4 in 5 of those categories yet never got the same recognition.

With the war dance, once again I wasn’t there but if was part of the Carlton cheer squad and had one of the players do a war dance pretending to throw imaginery spears at me i’d be giving it right back at him and heckling every time he was tackled, dropped a mark etc for the rest of the game.

As a Hawks supporter I still see the 2012 GF as the missed 4 peat oppurtunity and as such all swans playing that day have a special place in my black heart.

The Final Quarter: An opportunity for education and empowerment

Yep, it would be a horrible experience.

The Final Quarter: An opportunity for education and empowerment

No, your are unbelievable.

Uncomfortable as it might be, all sports fans should watch The Final Quarter

Until both sides remove the chip of their shoulder nothing will change

The Final Quarter reaction – I lost faith in Australia

Depends on their floggability score on the flog meter.

Uncomfortable as it might be, all sports fans should watch The Final Quarter

I hated watching him kick the winning goal of the 2012 GF and made a pact Chapman style that I would boo him for the rest of his career. Of course living in Perth gave limited opportunities to boo

Players at the end of their career’s i.e. silk and roughy are not what GCS need. Hodge is always used as the example but as a leader he is on another plane compared to roughy and silk. Power forward is almost the hardest position to play in your prime let alone on the other side of 32.

Silk will be 37 at the start of next season and has developed a history of soft tissue injuries over the past couple of seasons and is as his name implies the ” silk”. At his age he is not the answer to a list lacking in every department.

I agree with the premise of getting the off field infrastructure in place including facilities, coaching and conditioning staff and making the club an appealing place to ply your trade.

All of the successful rebuilds of the past decade have had a period of investment in the off field structuring of the club.

Suns need cash, not picks

It was nearly 3yrs ago, time to build a bridge.

Six talking points from AFL Round 17

But would Hodgey have gone to the Lions if fages wasn’t there?

Thriving culture the key to clubs’ success

Finish 8th and get pick 10 or finish 10th and get pick 8. It’s a conundrum.

Hawks fly past Dockers in crucial AFL win

Do they all follow Collingwood?
