B.P your argument about equality is as deeply flawed as the “white lives matters” principle it just deflects from the fact that racism exists and that certain minorities are targeted unfairly. Imagine the hurt you would feel if your kid came home in tears after being vilified for just being them. Sport needs to lead by example, words need to have consequences words that are weapon’s need to have serious repercussions.

Please explain this Carlton ‘arrangement’ Don give us some facts about this Carlton ‘arrangement’ please Don who is doing the sweeping ? name names mate break it open, be our deep throat, expose the underbelly of the snake for us all to see you know put up or shut up Don. Or you could just take the good with the bad and enjoy the ride, it’s not worth getting twisted up over things you have no control over.

Six Points: Clutch kings do it again, footy's dirtiest player, and debunking 'Vic-centric' fixture myth

Yep just what we need another asterisk next to our GF, the first one being ‘not at the G’. Bugger;)

Albanese asked to intervene as former Dees doctor drops bombshell over players dodging drug tests

Personally I do think it’s grandstanding, but now it’s been raised and if we go down a path to a Australian enquire in to sport/drugs/gambling leading to a Royal commission, well it would take a years just to deal with the pony’s and then the jockey’s and then the trainer’s, then boxing and promoters, fighter’s and then MUA, etc. we all know sport with any type of gambling attached is a ’BIT’ rigged/corrupt with some much more than others. All of it’s a game in every sense of the word. It is a damn shame but If you don’t want to be gamed or manipulated it’s probably best not to gamble or take illegal drugs.

The Dees will still have to pay if they want to trade Grundy as they have now an obligation to pay an agreed percentage ( it’s unknown but probably around 600k) so they would need to find a club willing to pay the 600k or a high pick and Melbourne pay Grundy, say 10% of his salary as well. If the latter happens then three clubs paying the one salary would be a first.

TOM MORRIS: The hidden peril the Dees can't afford to risk in trading Brodie Grundy

I believe they are obliged to Bandicoot, as it was Collingwood’s 7-year contract to start with so that needs to be honoured at the moment Grundy is receiving his allotted salary from both clubs and next year it could be three, remembering that he maybe/probably could of stayed at the pies if he had agreed to a pay cut:)

And vice versa ???? any way, no team has won from 4th for a very long time so I am hoping praying that history will not impact the Dees Don 👍 best luck for next year and fantastic that Doggo copped a jumper 🥊

Forget the ladder - the Lions have never been further away from a flag

May be it is said because,Over a 33-year period, 91 percent of all Grand Final winners have finished inside the Top 4. Adelaide in 1997 and 1998 and the Western Bulldogs in 2016 are the only teams to win the flag from outside the Top 4:)

Forget the ladder - the Lions have never been further away from a flag

But a double chance!!! Top four a double chance Don that’s the magic, it’s got to count for something surely.

Happy for Jesse and Bedford, hart’s beat true:)

Frita goes all right to be fair Don.

Hi Shane,
As a layman, the episode was horrifying, the commenters also emphasised this at the time, we were all shocked with The 6 minutes, then Ali back on ground, it stinks of greed. If Ali had the SCAT5 then this would not be up for debate, if the AFL is serious about protecting the brain then a please explain is good for all parties. The protocols surrounding head collisions in my and others opinions, need to be updated and then implemented ASAP. 👍

Six Points: Port's concussion farce, an all time MCG classic, and a day of upsets flips the season on its head

Yep very true, I was on the periphery of one of these fatal attacks, healthy young man with a virus playing squash collapsed and passed, shocking. That was a wonderful explanation of these syndromes, you write well and with authority, thank you Shane.

No nothing wrong with a rant mate, just another one of us with a passion for the game;) now my turn for a rant 😉 I think what is worrying is that certain professions need to be held to a higher Order. And yes in the heat of battle under pressure mistakes are made but this is a game, it’s in the end, past all the fans and entertainment, this in essence was a by decision driven by money, the players were treated as a commodity, unfortunately, it should not of happened. and now it’s time to progress and make sure it never happens again, eg outside adjudication, non prejudicial, independent, may be the answer. As far as public shaming, well it’s fact and gossip is as old as time, backlash can drive change for the better hopefully 🙂 all the best.

'Played out through the right hands': Hinkley backs Port doctor's contentious Aliir concussion call

Adam, the doctors did not do there jobs, Fisher failed to follow protocol, that’s the point. He has admitted this, failings in duty of care in the medical world is extremely serious and ruinous for people s lives. The risks to Alli where not worth it and never will be, that is why protocols are in in place. To protect the players in the future it now may be prudent to have a independent expert to enforce said protocols on the day.

'Played out through the right hands': Hinkley backs Port doctor's contentious Aliir concussion call

But this one we will never know if Alli was concussed as no SCAT happened Don, The Medico admitted that he made a mistake in not following the protocols. It is “sickening” that port Adelaide failed in there duty of care to these players. You are wrong on this one Don, please rethink you stance. Port actions and there medicos actions are indefensible. I just hope these men are ok now and in the future.

'Played out through the right hands': Hinkley backs Port doctor's contentious Aliir concussion call

It was sad to watch.
Port should be ashamed and punished for their disregard for the players health, Fisher admission of his negligence the coaching staff allowing it to happen is mind boggling, surely port should have large crippling sanctions, for bringing the game into disrepute. What clowns, people lives are at stake. Hope the boys are ok for now and into the future.

Fair enough Ace, Grundy not so much, but “maybe” a cameo in the 1s now and then, to relieve Maxx would be nice, I know it must be hard on him to play second fiddle, but the big bucks, his career has commanded would soften the blow I recon. Both of em seem like good blokes and I wish em the best.

Six Points: Port's concussion farce, an all time MCG classic, and a day of upsets flips the season on its head

Thanks for this article Tim, I must say I agreed with all of it. Dees v tigs yep time May diminish it but definitely one of the most if not the most intense clashing of these two mobs, just awe inspiring. In the dark back alleys of these last games, for me the Tigers are the mob, you lest want to bump into, Dusty and the boys forever treacherous 🙂 so TF that’s over. 😁

Yep Junk, saw the in the kings Birthday Dee clash:)

Good teams find a way to win, and yep we are very very sneaky, they underestimated our sneakiness’s, sneaking is part of the game mate it’s not like we hide it we even have name for them, small forward. Hence we won and rightfully claimed our deserved points.

Thank you Cloak. We are going good mate, Proud of our boys. We have been finding a way to win and we have stepped up of late, I don’t get why there is so much vitriol from the author and one other, but then again they are the type of people that think that women should be seen and not heard.
SAD

Unlike you Cam we prefer to look at positives.
By the way what was with the Barbie joke mate, after that bit of misogynistic stereotyping what can we expect next, a bit of hilarious racism.

Seriously, Doc ya pathetic. Don’t encourage this stuff, “off you go now love we got mens business to do” ya both Dinosaurs. Footy is about family and egalitarianism, there is nothing wrong with a bit of healthy tribal rivalry but jokes like this ain’t health. Try harder boys.
