Have played club rugby, coached club & sub-district rugby & been a level 2 referee & referee coach. Also played enough cricket as an opening bowler to make sure my knees are totally useless!

Why Michael Hooper is the Six Million Dollar Man
Bit harsh there, Cliff, blaming Castle for the Bulldogs fiasco. The problem there was Des Hasler, who left the Bulldogs in as much disarray as he left his previous club, Manly. Both clubs will need a long time to get back off the floor.

Yes, fair call, but no one else from either side seemed to turn up. For the most part, it was a tackle & everyone else watching.
Tah-riffic! Incredible comeback puts Waratahs into semi-finals
No, just bagging as many Waratahs as names you could remember.

No Paulo, just giving it back!
Tah-riffic! Incredible comeback puts Waratahs into semi-finals
Just watched the Lions v Jaguars game. It was interesting to see that neither team was interested in contesting the breakdown. It’s a big task going to SA to play a semi, but I reckon the Tahs have to adopt a game plan of trying to smash the Lions at the breakdown, then go wide. Maybe then they’ll be prepared to face the the Crusaders in the final.

No, Paulo, not undercover at all. He is a NZ member of the the IRB citing commission.
Folau suspension: Let's applaud, not sanction, skilful feats
No, the defending side can run and jump for the ball, too. Just not lift dangerously.

No new laws here, Frank. These are the current laws.
Seven talking points from Walabies vs Ireland second Test
I just had another look at the laws. Tackle law 14.8 a says, “Other players must:
Remain on their feet and release the ball and the ball-carrier immediately.”
Sanction Penalty.
If they go to ground with the tacked player, thus sealing off the ball, they should be penalized.

Totally agree. It would require a clarification from World Rugby to referees to change their handling of the situation.

It is a maul under the laws. Law 16.2 says,”It consists of a ball-carrier and at least one player from each team, bound together and on their feet.” The defending team can pile on top, claim a collapsed maul and earn the scrum feed.

What a patronising comment, Angus, typical of those who orchestrated the demise of the Force in the first place. I’ll bet you have “I love Cameron Clyne” bumper stickers, too.

It worked for Scotland with Joubert.

AR’s are a joke. Might as well give them a beer & a pie & sit them in the stands with the rest of us.
Ex-Wallaby says 'we need to cheat better'
The referee or his assistants or the TMO should have sorted it out at the time. 29-0 with a red card to Moody puts a totally dfferent complexion on the game than Moody being awarded the try that turned the momentum of the match.

Congratulations, taylorman, you have managed to encapsulate in one comment the great spirit of New Zealand rugby that endears it to rugby fans around the world.
