depends what theyve invested in from their peak as well I spose. don’t spend as if the success is permanent. i’d like to see the Irish model go through some dry times before declaring it the universal best model.

Scrap the Giteau Law: Rugby Australia should look to Rassie's 'Boks RWC recipe if it wants to re-join the big boys' table

bit late to this but can these nations support themselves when the test team isn’t winning for a few years? its impossible for everyone to sustain themselves from a model that needs more than 50% wins

Yep probably a little better if anything. These guys who can’t be fit into origin despite being good are the ones they should be targeting.

Wild idea but Blues should actually pick Origin team on form this time around - and that means Tedesco’s time is up

Get him over to rugby don

its a very short season and 10 isnt the most physically demanding. i think more about keeping them mentally fresh

Five things: Lesson Aussie rugby can learn from Kiwis - and why next month will determine whether SR gap has closed

Hard for the broadcast er though as they like to promote their big product

The Wrap: Crusaders' shot clock fiasco and shhh, don’t put the moz on Darby

Ha ha haven’t had to do it myself for a while outside origin and gf. Way too much carry on over nothing issues
Just laziness really, don’t have to think of anything new to say if you just repeat to latest controversy

The Wrap: Crusaders' shot clock fiasco and shhh, don’t put the moz on Darby

johns doesnt anoint them for origin though mind you. just stars of the comp they’re playing in

The Wrap: Crusaders' shot clock fiasco and shhh, don’t put the moz on Darby

youll know oz rugby is doing well when players are talked up for being super rugby stars with no mention of wallabies

I would have thought so but he’s had a few years to try and fix his kicking now

'Kid wonder': Lancaster, Gordon shine as Rebels take one giant step in locking in maiden Super Rugby finals berth

He’s also doesn’t to be better than Jordie Barrett to get picked at 12

RTS would have got a fair bit of time at test level if he was Ozzie and not Kiwi

Rooster must remodel: Angus Crichton says he'd want to 'dominate' in rugby union - this is what he'd have to change

Yeah I definitely wouldn’t be getting him over on a wage that made him one of the highest paid in the game

No luck and didn’t have the size to be a bash type 12

Had now to do with their form and motivation. If someone is on the slide from their peak, struggling to keep their spot in first grade they’re probably not going to show their best quickly in rugby no matter their age

I actually think we a bit light on at 12. Serviceable options but not so good I’m not interested in other options.

AC isn’t actually that high on my list of league second rowers of like to see come over to play 12. A few ahead of him on current form

Don’t really agree with your summary or the conclusion you’ve drawn

I don’t see that as accurate myself

Reckon the bash and barge element be had in those clips would have been nurtured in NRL. Moeroa never got near origin or kangaroos so we could set higher expectations for Angus perhaps

Anyone got the story why tm only got a few runs? On what they were paying him surely excited to try and use him more

20 seconds of work for 2 minutes rest seems a good deal

Just because you have to pay attention doesn’t mean you can’t have a breather

I think you’d have to compare the level the league guy came from to decide if there a success.

A lot of rugby folk like to call any concert a failure of they don’t become wealthy greats but the reality is a lot of these guys are club level players who at least achieve comparable club level in rugby.. the yardstick is often a little off

I think though the role of a12 has changed a bit. There almost another loosie now. Sbw, kerevi didn’t have great passing.

Not for bad investments but could be worth a bit of a punt as he wouldn’t be too expensive

Yep. Have to use iketau for that

has history shown that tho? at worst itd be 50% successes wouldnt it?
