Fremantle Dockers vs Adelaide Crows highlights: AFL scores, blog, result
Quick Dockers notes:
After a quiet first half Matt Taberner showed some promising signs as the lone key forward with Matthew Pavlich off the ground. He finished with 2 goals but could have had 4 if not for two disastrous shots late in the 3rd quarter.
Tommy Sheridan gathered 28 disposals at 89% efficiency off half back, while Lachie Weller provided good forward pressure.
Connor Blakely showed some flashes, finishing with 8 contested possessions, 3 clearances, and 4 tackles.
The Dockers will need to clean up their kicking before the regular season starts, particularly their entries into the forward half that produced only 5 marks inside 50.

The defence was solid all day, although Fremantle’s forward line was hardly dynamic.
Tom Lynch didn’t have as much of an impact in the second half after being close to best on ground in the first half.
Paul Seedsman got more involved as the game went on, while Troy Menzel was quiet all match.
Wayne Milera didn’t get a lot of ball but looked good and generally used it well when he did.
Rory Laird continued his strong play from last season, with 29 disposals at 89% efficiency.
