League players have enough trouble kicking field goals as it is let alone an extra 8m..The goal posts where they are also give the spectators a better perspective of the try line, also the goal posts on the dead ball line would be in the way of spectators veiwing at the ground,at Comm bank the seats are very close to the dead ball line.
