The homework is NOT the issue here… it’s the direct disobedience that came as a result.
If homework belongs in school, surely the “I’m not doing it” approach does as well?
Just when you thought things couldn't get any worse
Ive backed myself into a corner…
A poor choice of wording (“make up your own mind”) really flawed the point of the article.. Forgive me of that.. It was simply aimed at being one side of the story.
As the Ye old saying goes, pun certainly intended.. Innocent until proven guilty..
Then again, where was that treatment for Contador?
Lets be honest, I’m sick of Ye..
Ye Shiwen has history against her
Did the swimmer in the next lane match Lochte’s time over the last 100m and better it in the last 50m? my arguement is with Ye, no other athlete… I’m not stereotyping, nor generalising… The fact that a sixteenyear old won so comprehensively and in combinition with a patchy record for chinese swimmers, dating back to just 2 months ago, suggests the concept of enhancing is not far-fetched… that is ALL i am saying..
I said this.. “This may just be the rise of a great athlete, but then again, there are many points towards foul play” … Just exploring the options to ignite conversation and debate..

So anyone who suggests an athlete MAY be aided somehow is wrong in doing so?
Ye Shiwen has history against her
“So, let’s see if I understand how some Aussies analyse results”
This is by no means simply an Australian way of analysing… In fact other nations have been much quicker to point to finger..
Fussball is just incorporating that with his argument for a cheap shot…
Ye Shiwen has history against her
Speaking of poking holes..
“she has tested negative in all the competitions she has ever competed in”
So it is inapprehensible that someone who has never tested positive MAYBE performance enhanced?
At one stage in Ben Johnsons career he had never tested positive… Does that mean that anyone who called foul play was wrong to do so?

Oh please,
You’re hardly subtle about your feelings towards Australia, so don’t use that as the basis for your argument here..
Again, stop taking my words out of context… I haven’t said she is a drug cheat.. I am stating the facts, and even said “you make up your own mind”
Ye Shiwen has history against her
Not once have I claimed her to be guilty.. I just don’t believe it is such a far fetched idea?
Ease up on the “delusional” comments champ.. Just because the evidence may point to the contrary doesn’t mean you neglect the other side of the story..
Why not instead read the content correctly next time…
Ye Shiwen has history against her
I’m just laying down the history of China in the pool… The likelyhood is that she will test negative, but I’m merely pointing out the reasons for doubt?

Let the One King Rule,
Unfortunately “innocence” seems to lull one into a false sense of security security.. A masking agent all be it..
I’d like to think that a young 16 year old would stear clear of drugs, but would that make me naive?
Her teammate Li Zhesi was I think 16 or 17 at the time she tested positive… Age really plays no role nowadays.

Fussball..
Pit Australia’s track record for drugs in swimming against China.. You’ll then understand why we question this.
If she tests negative, It truely is a win for sport and a testament to hard work.. but surely it pays to push the boundaries of scepticism rather then the oppositie?

The Boomers made a promising start to the bball against Brazil… meanwhile 9 are showing swimming heats.. Someone explain the logic to me?
Nine's Olympic coverage disappointing

Fabrice Muamba's near death saves a rival's life
First time Fulham has won three in a row since the “great escape in 2008” where they won their last three matches to somehow avoid relegation.
Kudos to Jol for great player management and congrats to Pog on a fine start!
United crush Spurs, keep pressure on City
Hey pete I hear he’s looking for a share house with Rafa Benitez? 2 Bedroom apartment just out of London!
Whoever gets the gig, dump the 4-3-3… It plain and simply just doesn’t work.. AVB tried his very best to work the team around the formation (hmm sound familiar? Verbeek cough cough) and Chelsea certainly lack the goal scoring output to play 3 up front at the moment and they don’t have a Joao Moutinho type player at the helm to call the shots… He’s destined to land himself a big contract out of Porto surely? But that is another issue for another day.
Drogba is gone (soon enough), so whoever takes the reins needs to start thinking “future”. Does that mean a Torressless Chelsea? Well you look at 3 goals in over 35 appearances and try and hold a straight face..
Chelsea needs to be reworked… They need to tap into their rich commodities; their youngsters, their big names and all and all they need to reinvigorate that fear connected with Stamford Bridge.
They have the tools, but who has the guts to use them?
Villas-Boas axed by Chelsea
I’d be inclined to say the opposite in all honesty.. Just take a look at our results against sides above us in recent time.
Man City 2-2
Arsenal 1-1
Liverpool 1-0 to Fulham
Chelsea 1-1
Arsenal 2-1 to Fulham
Newcastle 5-2 to Fulham
City and Man Utd did topple us in two other games, but overall the performance against top sides has been rather impressive.
Losing points to teams like Swansea, Stoke, Wolves and Blackburn etc has killed us. I’d go as far as to say that we go into our shell when we are expected to win.
Elsewhere, Juan Mata is about the only positive to derive from the AVB era..
Van Basten to Chelsea? That would certainly get Roman’s heart pumping! Hup holland hup!
Abramovich must take control after Chelsea disaster
RIP AVB … While your time was short, you still managed to drive Chelsea into the ground and for that… I thank you.
More importantly, Pogrebnyak hat-trick for Fulham, 5 goals in his first 3 games… now thats news! 😀
Abramovich must take control after Chelsea disaster
The unluckiest cricketer I believe doesn’t even play for Australia… Ryan ten Doeschate of the Netherlands..
Food for thought?
Australian cricket's Unlucky XI: Part two
Just for you AndyMack i’ll pull a John Inverarity and say “Shaun Young is rested” … Lehmann will get a gig in this team for a game or two 😉
Australian cricket's Unlucky XI: Part two
MacGill was a different sort of unlucky.. Maybe I should have stuck with the trend of cricketers to play no or very few tests?
I guess I was trying to say that unlucky isn’t restricted to one meaning..
Unlucky is in the eyes of the beholder shall we say ?
Australian cricket's Unlucky XI: Part two
Hi Sheek,
To me unlucky doesn’t just come down to the amount of tests played. Of cours that is a major factor, but sometimes there is more to it (thats just my opinion).
MacGill could have easily played 100 tests, this is why I consider him unlucky.
As for Bichel… I also consider one to be unlucky based on last performances… Took 5 wickets (most in the match for AUS) in his last Test match.. I’ve never understood the grounds of dropping a player who is currently “in form”.
As I said, each to their own… We all have different opinions on “unlucky”.
Australian cricket's Unlucky XI: Part two
I love the code names we have in Australian sport these days.. “rested” and “injured’ are no longer literal terms.
Australia vs Saudi Arabia: World Cup Qualifier live scores, blog
Fulham are certainly top 8 prospects, battling to stay up is a tad pessimistic in my opinion.
Amorebieta was a mighty fine acquisition and will finally give Hangeland the support he needs. Reither at RB is one of the leagues top back flankers.
Berba as usual will work wonders up front and Ruiz behind with a touch of class! An ailing midfield has forever and a day burdened the Cottagers, but a clean bill of health and strong preseason certainly indicates a typical scrap for survival wont be on the cards for Fulham this year.
