He hasn’t proven to be a ‘strike centre’ that’s the problem. He may go better outside a better half/six – my choice would be Storm, Roosters or Broncos if he wants to play semis, but will take a pay cut to do so.

Dragons finally letting Lomax leave - and his exit might start a feeding frenzy across the NRL

Souths remind me of the Bulldogs a few years ago, when they let Josh Reynolds go, then James Graham and left Josh Jackson basically on his own to do all the hard work – same as Cam Murray.

NRL Round 4 Talking Points: A month is done - let’s make some hard calls

I’m enjoying the way the Warriors are plying, mixing up their attack and being more creative than most teams. I think Des has just worked our why the Gold Cost is often referred to as ‘God’s waiting room.’

Wrapping his arms round the waist and dropping his body/hip onto the back or side of the legs. Usually happens when the defender is struggling to stop the attacker’s momentum. For me KenW, it looks intentional. Unfortunately there is no consistency. Haas did the same to Cleary in the GF and didn’t even get penalised.

Des despondent as 'inexcusable' Titans battered by Dolphins - but should hip-drop have been a send-off?

You can’t convince me that player didn’t know what he was doing.

He’ll be more nervous if they get rolled by the Dogs. I’ve tipped the Dogs, I just feel they are improving each week, whilst the bunnies are going the other way.

'I'm sick of telling people I'm actually OK': Demetriou bats back fears over his job as Murray sits out captain's run

It frustrates me when a player has time to stop, throw his hand in the air, turn to the ref and claim a foul of some sort – giving up on the play altogether. Manly were dudded on that call, but not the sole reason they lost the game.

Moses-inspired Parra prove they're finals contenders but Manly seething as Bunker lacks 'common sense' with no-try call

Happy for the Doggies – been. While between drinks so great to see them enjoying themselves.

Thanks. Good to know champ.

Latrell's not walking the walk after talking the talk: Souths should be worried after star goes missing against Roosters

I don’t watch every game so happy to be told I’m wrong, but I can’t see how Latrell could be selected for NSW, let alone Australia. As a fullback, I’d put him well behind Edwards, Teddy, Turbo, Ponga, Walsh, Pappy and even Gutho. Since he joined Souths, I don’t think he has lived up to his pay packet. He does put a lot of pressure on himself and to me, he looks like he’d rather be somewhere else. Wouldn’t surprise me if he walks away from the game soon or takes an extended break.

Latrell's not walking the walk after talking the talk: Souths should be worried after star goes missing against Roosters

I can’t see Souths doing much better in coming weeks. They lack speed, aging roster, no kicking game and one attacking option (pass to Cody). I feel for Cam Murray, poor bloke is going to be busted soon if he keeps having to carry that team. Anyone notice Arrow texting on his phone on the sideline and not even watching the game?

Demetriou has 'no doubt' he can turn around Souths after disaster derby sees Latrell binned in Roosters riot

Steveng, some seemed to miss May also receiving treatment after the tackle. There would have been 100 tackles in that game exactly the same technique, with no accidental head clash.

'Duty to bend' debate over Walsh hit overshadows 'absolute genius' Cleary torturing Broncos in statement Panthers win

“Duty to bend” what a joke! Reece gets hurt therefore must be a penalty.

If Souths lose this week, the CEO will make a statement that “the board are fully supportive of the coach,” and we’ll know what happens next!

'I won’t explain my reasoning': Demetriou curt on Ilias and Latrell questions as Cook demotion looms

Not the first player to sign a long deal on excessive coin based on potential, then puts the cue in the rack.

Zac has max potential but Dragons should show him the door if he wants to take his lucrative contract elsewhere

Latrell is a high profile player, not a ‘star of the game’ or ‘one of the game’s greats’ and not a ‘Rabbitoh star.’ He’s not in the Sterling, Inglis or Lewis category. Probably closer to the Todd Carney or John Hopoate rankings.

Last week Cody was in space and Reynolds caught him. Souths kept the wrong half.

I think the only thing worse than Latrell’s attitude is their captain and coach accepting it as normal. Souths coach won’t last the year. Reminds me of Hayne at the Titans, all money, attitude and mouth, but no footy.

Just saw Nikora’s hit, if that was on a half he would have been definitely off. As for Luai, hasn’t he tripped before?

Regardless the Tigers need to show signs of improvement, which will mean winning more games than last year. If they start betting gig losses, will be interesting to see how Benji handles all the pressure.

Benji's first Tigers game doesn't matter, and neither does his first year - he should treat this all as a trial

I think he has come to the realisation that his career is coming to an end, has wasted 10years and needs the cash. One game played good.

I feel this was a trial and verdict by media and players, ex and current.

I’ll put a few quid on the hammer to win the Dally M! I’d say the judge in question either did a Ruan Simms and didn’t watch the game, or was at Gambaros in Caxton St. I don’t blame players for not wanting to attend the ceremony.

The old Bears will never be back. The logo might move with a handful of supporters and a bag of full of cash, but the link to the North Sydney Bears will be minimal.
