I think the 17th team is exciting and will watch their games. There are some emerging talents, (Sean Sullivan) and some older experienced players, (Bromwich brothers). It will be interesting to see what the ‘Master’ can do with them.

They will play many games. The large finals will be where a determination is made. Also if one is injured.

Thankyou channel nine for the coverage. You were not able to do the Daly M awards. Maybe I need Fox again.
NRL grand final replays: How to watch Penrith Panthers vs Parramatta Eels replays online, on TV and on demand
Parra only made the gf on a win over the cows. That was on the back of a forward pass. I think the cowboys would have been more competitive.

I agree with you. Clearly Cleary is a generational player. He was good tonight and at 24 there is Alot of maturity to follow.
REACTION: 'We wanted to be the hunters' - Nathan Cleary reveals fuel that fired 'relentless, ruthless' romp
Full credit to Penrith. A lot has been said. Clearly the best team or was it Cleary the best team. I do think NQ Cowboys would have been a better fit to play the Panthers

Gutho was their best. All gave some but some gave all.

They didn’t play well hence the score line
Parramatta Eels NRL Grand Final Player Ratings: One man 'tried his guts out' but teammates had 'zero impact'
Good call. I thought he did well but the amount of energy used in the first half with Parra defending killed the attack.

Very slack. It’s called the “National Ruby League”. What is National about no broadcast.

Where did you get that information. Instead they broadcast ‘Murder She Wrote’. 1992 era.

I am a Tyson fan but gee the guy can be a goose. How could he not see those types of comments would draw heat. Maybe he is correct but he has done himself no favours by talking it up. Very disappointing.
Gamble debacle terrible timing for Walters as Broncos sink below fine line between success and failure
Sure I take your point. Even in Queensland it was not televised on free to air. The NRL’s biggest awards night was not available on free to air. So unless you pay for prescription TV you miss the party. There are many options for free to air. It does not have to be the main attraction- maybe 92 (nine gem). That way it could be a choice. For me it is really poor form to not have fans involved in the occasion. If it was a money decision as in broadcaster rights I think they got it wrong.

I think Haas is a good player, even a very good front rower however the Broncos did not play finals footy and yes it’s a team game but Haas was actually just ordinary. He did not change the outcome of matches or lead the forwards to victory. He takes up a big chunk of the salary cap. I think he only did his job. I don’t think he was outstanding. He has also been damaging during the season with his management and threats of disturbances over salary. I am a Haas fan but I sincerely believe he can do better on and off the field.

Totally agree. A few years in reserves might help him develop but presently he is not up to the standard required
Can Souths end their finals struggles in 2023?
So the Penrith Panthers have made the grand final for now three years consecutively. If they win on Sunday they will have back to back tittles. Parramatta are 36 years dry of a premiership. The difference is clearly Cleary. Its one thing to know what he is going to do its another to stop him. (Kicking them to death, long, high and even short).

Totally agree with you on Val. He had a strong SOO series and a big back end to the season. Strong ball runner, good defender and can kick them too. I’m my opinion he deserves a green and gold jersey. Would not look out of place playing for Australia.

Why was the awards not on free to air television. Do they not want to grow the game.

Absolutely great result. Excellent player and even better bloke. Future captain

If he can mount a defence and show cause then the allegations can be addressed. I understand the audio is under scrutiny. Watch this space as I think it has changed the role of the on-field trainers, runners and medical staff. Perhaps it needed a review anyway.
