Enjoy all sports! enjoy all opinions, even the excruciatingly bias ones. Current status on the Australian cricket: laughable Current status on Australian Rugby: not much better. Current Status on the NRL: I hate Manly. Status on Australian Soccer: where is the next generation?

Same boat as you, however I will have to lean towards Manly, there consistency over the last decade is remarkable! so i will raise my glass to that and ONLY to that. I agree, the Roosters salary cap situation baffles me completely.

How to choose your NRL grand final team

I can tell you right now, Randwick council has a Sh*load of Souths banners ready to go out if they win on Friday, so be prepared just in case!

Rabbitohs, Roosters: Electorate football foes

FINALLY, someone who sees it true. Pearce is a HOOKER!

Who deserves a marquee spot in the NRL?

I 100% agree! Reynolds will play origin hopefully (Both Reynolds’ will) But NSW will get more out of Sutton. I am a big believer that Pearce’s best position will be hooker…his defence is second to none… So if Farah goes down Pearce could easily play there, then Maloney to 7 and Sutton to 6. So no need for a second hooker in my opinion. I would love to see, if origin three is a dead rubber: 6 Reynolds, 7 Reynolds, 9 Pearce. It could maybe work very well!

It'd be a disaster to pick Reynolds over Sutton

It was incoherent and illiterate… Very, very entertaining!

Warner’s case to bat at six

The poor man had to stop taking dem peptides!

At the end of the day.. rub Fa’aoso out for the next half of the season… unless manly are able to persuade the panel that Inglis penguin dived three times on his head on purpose! Then faked being hurt.. Like Toovey ultimately suggested in the post match press conference that Souths are pretty much cheaters..

Why don't we replace send offs?

No, I say unless he picks up some major form, Hayne to fullback, Merritt wing so. So your back 3 would be: 1: Hayne 2/5: Morris & Merritt. I feel Merritt’s major flaw was defence, but if you have been watching him play particularly this year he has been superb so far. On Friday he kept Lyon and Williams quiet all night long and even Matai when they switched. So i think Merritt being a “defence liability” argument is invalid and he should be picked. But its still a few weeks away, things may change!

I agree with the card system idea: on report once = Yellow (warning) , on report again for highly dangerous conduct= Red enjoy your early ice bath . Anything inbetween= orange 10 mins in the bin. You could certainly argue that severity does vary. But in all honesty how often do you seen players put on report twice in one match? Let alone commit two 100% illegal tackles?

Why don't we replace send offs?

Unfortunately I feel Merritt will be one of the best never to play for NSW. As I think Hayne has his number. However, if injury does occur Merritt would be the next man for the job. In my opinion, Stewart does not warrant a spot. I would have Hayne at fullback and Merritt on the wing. Hayne has a good record at origin level. But the selectors and my self live in parallel universes. My only other change would be that Gidley gets dropped and put Sutton on as a utility he can play backrow, 5/8 and in the centres. He is currently consistant and has a great running game similar to a Lewis, which of course should be starting.
