Joey Walton is looking better at 12 but after so many back to back injuries I am just happy to see him playing footy.

ANALYSIS: 'Efficiency and ruthlessness' - Race to the 22m to determine Australia's Super Rugby front-runners

Well done Panthers. I thought you might go down by a smidgeon but no you have cruelled my tipping.

Annesley admits Roosters were robbed as obstruction rules come under blowtorch despite Panthers' statement win

Yeah I see the contending 13s for the Wallabies to be Ikitau, Flook and Perese in that order …. Len Ikitau the length of Flemington straight above the others.

Yeah good article. Thanks for that. I looked at defence and attack and have picked the Reds by a smidgeon.

Good call young man, now go do the best you can

Are you forgetting that Kellaway has already signed for the Tahs next year ?

Wonder kid offered 3-yr, $1.6m deal to stay in Aussie rugby - and why it could see Wallabies stars leave Ballymore

Yeah I agree Tony. Mitchell, whatever is on his mind, is just not giving effort and is not delivering on his salary. If I was JD I would ban him from social media and media interviews. Maybe even drop him.

Lomax is on $750-800K per season. That is not winger or centre money unless you are an elite player which Lomax is not. He has played 2 games on the wing and played well but that does not mean he moves to another club on the same coin. I reckon Flanagan is handling him well …. deny the release even after this year, technically no other club can table an offer un Nov 30 2025 …. so thats where it should sit. Then see if those inflated deals from other clubs come flooding in.

Zac has max potential but Dragons should show him the door if he wants to take his lucrative contract elsewhere

IMO Wayne Smith had more to do with AB tactics than anyone else

ANALYSIS: Good teams win when they're not at their best - but the Brumbies have a lot to fix to challenge in Super Rugby

The Brums have had an easy draw so and that defensive frailty is going to come back to bite them.

Bunnies problems are down to two ‘star’ lazy backs and a relatively light weight pack where only a couple of blokes work their butts off. Most of the squad look unfit, lack effort and sit back waiting for the miracle play. Thats my opinion and dropping Illias is not going to change a damn thing. Now dropping Walker might just give the team a kick.

Ilias not even half the problem as Rabbitohs' woes run far deeper than struggling playmaker

No, they need fit forwards willing to work and the way it looks to me is that no one is willing to work hard enough with Mitchell and Walker both dragging their chains.

Too much to Bear: Danger signs emerge as Rabbitohs start to unravel after years of near-misses

Yeah Souths have 2 problems …. Mitchell and Walker but I reckon they have been let run too far now to pull it all back into where it needs to be.

Just my opinion but I don’t think Penney is much of a coach. Yeah sure he has a radically changed squad and a bad injury list, but the style of play is just not there.

All this talk about Lomax moving on and the Dragons talking to Petiaia. Well I reckon Lomax will see out his contract at the Dragons. Why? Because I doubt any other club will pay $800K for him, plus he is the Dragons goalkicker. What I think is more likely in the next 2 years is Jack de Belin is not resigned freeing up $750K, Ben Hunt moves on freeing up $900K. That frees up a lot of cap $ to upgrade contracts within the club. Petaiia will not come to the NRL with a Lions Tour and RWC in the offing.

Mate I’m predicting a mid table finish …. not talking them up …. just think Paul was a tad harsh

NRL Power Rankings: Round 1 - Small sample size but major concerns at a few clubs, Flanno back in style at Dragons

13th for the Dragons when other teams that lost are rated above them? Yeah Paul I don’t reckon the Dragons deserve that ….. tis very clear they are a vastly different team in 2024.

Yep the rugby was great …. pity the administrators cannot follow suit.

Flanno trumps Des as Sloan fires Dragons to statement win over Titans

Hmmmm Brumbies lineout still Struggling and with the jumpers they have it shouldn.t. Brums scrum only so so against a weak scrum, more to work on there. I would be interested to see the Brumbies defence stats, see if they improved at all. Loloesio seems to have slipped back into old habits. Just my thoughts.

Yellow card hurts Force as Brumbies seal come from behind win to get season back on track

Nice Harry, yeah I tend to agree but all 3 will never get picked simply because they are Tahs.

Jed, Ned and Tane Edmed: The direction Joe Schmidt should head to put Eddie era to bed

Yeak ok it is only Rd 1 and on that basis I am ok with the team the Dragons have selected. But I reckon it would be a far better team with Lomax at fullback, Tuipolotu on the wing, Marscke at 6 and Kyle Flanagan on the bench. I would really like to see the Dragons roll that side out soon. Marscke is not going to be your flashy playmaker that takes a game by the scruff of the neck. But you don;t play 27 of 28 games in NSW Cup with out being tough and good at your job.

Are we seeing the death of Oz Rugby in all this? My crystal ball is very foggy but nothing coming into sight looks good. The only answer I have is EVERYONE look to the survival of Rugby in Oz.
