I agree with this TWAS. Picking some rando to run an organization of this size in this bad of shape is not going to end well. But my perspective on this is that maybe someone who comes from the amateur side of running a small club being on the board might just be able to give the others a perspective they don’t see.

'Easy to throw stones': RA chairman hits back at mudslingers' 'hypocrisy' after calls for AGM board cleanout

That’s the spirit Ben. Add to that it weakens the Tahs some more which is a little cherry on top.

Wallabies in danger of losing Hanigan to ambitious French club just as forward enters his prime

Yes there are 5 as good as him but there are 4 better and 3 coming through who will pass him by the lions tour.
But I will say he is a bigger loss than Swinton.

Ned was never a Villain or Vilified. Ned was just a shining example of everything wrong with Cheika as a coach.

That would be a revelation for the wallabies… actually picking players on form vs reputation.

Yep… I would have picked Ned over Jorgensen.

Mate the sunnybank colts 3 would give the Saders a run for their money.
Point is the Saders and highlanders are crap.

Brumbies to welcome back Wallabies duo for 'Canes clash after week of soul-searching, Tahs to tweak side for Chiefs

Mate the highlanders beat the Saders and an MLR team could beat the highlanders. That is not something to brag about.

you are correct. And that is why we don’t see him on the highlight real anymore. His impact around the field is the same but with no one off hits or “block busting” runs. If he can keep the work rate up and still make those big impact moments 2 or 3 times a game like he was, maybe there is potential for him to be more then just a solid super rugby player.

Langi takes plenty of breathers throughout the game. I’d prefer him having to play a harder working game and get that match fitness up.

a 20 year old lock getting regular time in a super rugby side is a big deal. Of course there were plenty of Locks getting more and regular game time across the 4 Aus super rugby sides. But look at Nick Frost. He was in the same situation and look at him now.
He left for money and likes what is on offer to him over there. He knew if he stayed firm (same with Lucas) that he will have a decent international career with Japan while the same thing was not a guarantee in Australia. He is not coming home or accepting an invitation to play for the wallabies.

Five things: What Beale has over other golden oldies, double pain for Brumbies as Blues expose Australia's biggest weakness

He started very strong in super rugby and was 100% on the radar of wallabies selectors as a future wallaby.
Surly someone has had the chat with him though and he has already shown that money is where his heart is at and Japan has more of it then RA.

Jeez… were the Aussie 9’s that bad this week that Kalani Thomas makes your team of the week?

Bobby v is an 8 and not a 6. Don’t know why the brumbies keep playing him there

But think of the balance they bring to the back row…….

Ryan louwrens has his moments and when he looks good he looks great. But he needs a lot more big games for me.
White can and will play a game plan that is given to him. His problem has been coaches playing brumbies ball with him at test level. That might be the same problem with Lonergran. He might well be the best 9 in Australia, but until he stops simply being a distributor and adds some depth to his game we will never know.

We don’t talk about Eddie jones being a reds coach. We all spent a lot of time and money forget that. Now please excuse me while I drink those memories away again.

'Like a Scud missile': World Cup reject leads rout, but Reds suffer fresh blow with Petaia's season in jeopardy

Not to worry. Nick white can start at 9 with Gordon at 10 and then when you swap out White for Tate you can bring in Lynagh who can then kick.

I guess all the chatter about lonegran being the best 9 is starting to come to a screeching haunt.

Fair go… a MLR team could beat the crusaders this year.

Beale, Rodda shine on Super Rugby return as Force smash Crusaders to keep finals hopes alive

Nah… the I hate the Tahs. Their arrogance and their fans arrogance just make me love watching them loose. Add to that the fact one of their golden boys Cheika is responsible in many Aus rugby fans eyes as the start of the down fall of Aus rugby I can’t be more excited to see them towards the bottom of the table.
And I have respect for the Brumbies as they do a great job of developing the QLD and NSW rejects/outcasts.

Especially since a lot of the rebels talent is also from that factory I’d say it is better then done

Who you running at 12 then Phil? The Brumbies bloke is doing alright but he is not a stand out and is hot and cold IMO. Foketi is well off the pace and Stewart (who i rate a lot) is just a guy who gets the job done week in week out without anything flashy.

'Like a Scud missile': World Cup reject leads rout, but Reds suffer fresh blow with Petaia's season in jeopardy

Nah… Fingers crossed Flook is back. Hunter is a great 12 and IMO the front runner for the wallabies at this time.

almost as much as beating the tahs.
