If there were key back concerns they wouldn’t have delisted McDonald right? I think they’re well positioned down back with Weitering and Young as the key posts with McGovern, Marchbank, Sam Durdin all capable of playing tall. Small forward pool is developing nicely with Fisher, Motlop, Durdin, Owies and Honey all on the rise

CP3 was elite this year but man did he run out of gas in the playoffs, he had one brilliant game where he tore New Orleans apart scoring 30 points in the second half but for the rest of the playoffs he was awful. The Pelicans showed him no respect and smothered him forcing unusually high number of turnovers. We all know what happens against the Mavs… CP3 has helped the young Suns core grow but he can do no more for them, they won’t win a title with him on their roster

What it highlights is how well the Nets and Simmons have managed to keep us all guessing. Like you stated there are a myriad of possibilities as to what is keep him on the sidelines, I think it would be negligent for the Nets to play him now after missing so much basketball. But at 3-0 the Nets may not have many more options!

I disagree, the whole point of the article was that mental illness is accepted, not scrutinised and recovery is achievable in the right environment. I highly doubt Dustin Martin’s value has been affected by his absence from the game
