CP3 was elite this year but man did he run out of gas in the playoffs, he had one brilliant game where he tore New Orleans apart scoring 30 points in the second half but for the rest of the playoffs he was awful. The Pelicans showed him no respect and smothered him forcing unusually high number of turnovers. What it highlights is how well the Nets and Simmons have managed to keep us all guessing. Like you stated there are a myriad of possibilities as to what is keep him on the sidelines, I think it would be negligent for the Nets to play him now after missing so much basketball. But at 3-0 the Nets may not have many more options!
