And Gordon is left on the field in every game beyond the point of exhaustion. The #21 is a pretty capable halfback who could lift the mob in the last 25 or 30 mins.

'What the hell's going on': Ex-Wallabies question 'losing' culture, pathways at Waratahs

I’m afraid he won’t be missed.

'Don't need to prove anything to anyone': Wallabies bruiser opens up on French move - and why he's found peace in role

Why does Toupou get injured so easily?
He was (almost) a dead loss at the World Cup.
Compare him with Angus Bell for resilience…
Who is doing the research?

'An experienced 10 would have helped': Wallabies open up on on failed World Cup they'll have to 'live with'

They were well-coached and showed core skills equal to their male conterparts. They just need some more $ and games to be up there with the top teams.

Wallaroos 2023 review: Cohesion helps team to on-field success as off-field struggles are being addressed

At the moment, the best in the world.
Angus Gardner benefits from Jaco’s injury but I would have preferred Nic Berry.

RWC News: World Rugby's epic troll in semis ref call, legend snipes at 'bandwagon' Kiwi fans, Bok great roasts Poms

Spiro does have an anti RL prejudice but he is correct about Eddie’s( and Australia in general’s) apparent disdain for the importance of the front row. They are the absolute foundation of the best teams in the world today and in the past.

SPIRO ZAVOS: Eddie Jones' coaching flaw is his belief that rugby is the same game as league

Check out the age games on STAN and you will see the same errors(e.g poor, aimless kicking, bad handling, lack of support play) as we do at Super Rugby and Test Level.
Something is missing at the junior levels…..could it be coaching?

Not so 'Smart Rugby': Putting the Australian coaching education system under the spotlight

Why not spend the money on retaining promising prop forwards; that is where we are well short by international standards.

Exclusive: Negotiations to lure NRL star to Wallabies fall over

No point in having a Cleary if we do not have prop forwards who can last more than one scrum or 20 minutes.
Spend any spare $ on an academy for props (especially those who do not succumb to soft tissue injuries).
Cleary would be useless at penrith without his outstanding (but very small by rugby standards) forward pack. We need at least a dozen huge props who can hold up the scrum and lift in the lineouts. If they can catch and pass as well, all the better!

Why the Wallabies shouldn't miss out on the next Joey and try to lure Cleary for 2027 World Cup

I think they may have been ‘bred’ in Fiji rather than cooked (as in bread) there.

RWC News: 'Losing three biggest academies' - Eddie's truth bomb for ABs, Poms' 'horrendous' fear

Perhaps the coaching is better in the UK. The matches are certainly more entertaining.

ANALYSIS: Why ball-in-play time is higher in north than down under, and how that's helped LSL get back into Test contention

Topou invited the Poms, with his ore match utterances,to give him a scrum lesson and they obliged in spades.

Wallabies DIY player ratings from the 2nd England Test: The Wright stuff and a tough night for JOC

Why?

'How much will Valetini be the focus?': The Roar experts' predicted Wallabies 23 for the first Test against England

He MISQUOTED the Bible. No mention of HELL in the text.

'Elephant in the room': Folau faces social media restrictions in rugby return with Tonga

In all his years at fullback, he has yet to make a try-saving tackle. He can score tries but has no idea of how to stop the opposition unless they mistakenly run into him

Israel Folau has 'no regrets about anything' and keen on 'special' Tonga World Cup appearance

And throw in the giant Harry Hocking(s) playing outstanding rugby in Japan.

REACTION: Aussie legend demands Wallabies call-up for Force 'future star'... but is it too soon?

He(Powell) is a big part of their problem. Seems to be missing at the breakdown quite a bit and has a comparatively slow delivery. Co-incidentally, it is a revelation to see how well the often scorned Nick Phipps is play at London Irish with the other Australians.

REACTION: Aussie legend demands Wallabies call-up for Force 'future star'... but is it too soon?

Hard to believe one of the best Wallaby backs of all time can say such dumb things. There is a need to swap Swain for Maloney, too.
English commentators ( and the verbose NZERS) are very good. As Richie Benaud used to say about commentary, ‘let the picture tell the story

The Wrap: Brilliant Hurricanes and Blues show how private equity money should be spent

Nonsense. RE should be banned for at least a year for bringing the game into disrepute.
No excuses.
There has been a non-stop diatribe from players to all referees in recent games partly because they think it is open slather. There used to be a Law banning coaches from the playing area. Bring it back and ban coaches and all assistant coaches from running water and kicking tees. Water carriers in Test matches not to enter the field of play unless invited by the referee.

BANNED: World Rugby punishes Rassie Erasmus over ref rant

McMahon has been playing brilliantly in Japan.

WALLABIES TEAM: Leota the No.6 bolter, McMahon overlooked, Hodge starts and JOC on bench

I detect an absence of rugby intelligence in the current Wallabies. All heart, though!

The Wrap: Wallabies fans, stop me if you’ve heard this one before

Gardner sounded like he was auditioning for a spot on the STAN commentary team. Rugby is boring enough for the non devoted viewer and when we get the continuous babble from the referee throughout the game it becomes unbearable. Murphy should never be appointed to a Super Rugby or Test match again.
Thank go for French referees! There, I have said it!

The Wrap: Wallabies fans, stop me if you’ve heard this one before

All sensible suggestions and: time for for goal kicks; time off for re-set scrums. No time off for players putting their boots back on or doing up laces( kindergarten ploy).
Police rucks more carefully( behind the LAST feet or back a metre with assistant refs to police the defending team).

Three easy changes to improve rugby right now

Thanks and good luck, Brett.
Aunty has a habit of signing up the best!

Welcome competition in the rugby broadcast rights race - and a farewell, for now…

What a great Final.
The English players were defeated by a better team and they were qick to acknowledge. They are a great bunch of sportsmen. It was also good to see Eddie smiling at the end too, although it must have been painful for him. Owen Farrell was quite justified in praising the effort of his team-mates. Their attitude is to be commended too, unlike some of their supporters.
A fantastic win by the Boks who played brilliantly.
Three cheers for M. Garces, too. Good game, ref!
