Jones is rubbish. He puts himself first. This is a disaster as a coach. This is not hindsight. I said as much and saw the incoming storm as can be read in this blog. I wrote after DRs sinful sacking that we would be lucky to get out of pool stages.
He’s a good assistant at best with some left field observation but only achieved in England because of a wealth of money and support both in the team and out.

Regarding the World Cup. There are two results in rugby. 1 a comprehensive win. 2 The outcome could have come down to a few things. The RWC fits into the latter.

Tony this article has taken the words out of my mouth. Schmidt should be target number 1. Nicafora 2. MC is a great coach who was somewhat hamstrung in OZ but might be a little controversial under the circumstances.

The reality of his clouded vision hit home last week. Eddie, a doer, and doers do under pressure, or in this case made the players do. He overtrained the squad injuring two of our three best players and quite frankly we looked tired against Fiji as well as under strength. Rennie was doing a great job with what he had and asked if him and his percentage was not entirely reflective of his talent. A humble man. More in line with the Australian tradition than ego Eddie.
