They did not bowl short, and the lack of pulls/cuts shows that.
They did bowl full, and that’s got to do with batsman forcing them on those lengths.
Kuhn's the Man: Spinner sparks Indian collapse with maiden five-for before Khawaja steers Australia to lead
All three played for spin, Khawaja the only batsman that did not chase spin, I was in awe of his discipline, just once did he chase spin and nearly nicked it.
Marnus was good too, but every now and then he would chase spin.
Kuhn's the Man: Spinner sparks Indian collapse with maiden five-for before Khawaja steers Australia to lead
Their spinners were not off, our batsman showed class and patience. They kept bowling full to Khawaja cause they were worried about him sweeping them, Khawaja is the main reason their spinners looked off.
Kuhn's the Man: Spinner sparks Indian collapse with maiden five-for before Khawaja steers Australia to lead
Khawaja was not bowled of the no ball, he played chanceless 60. It’s Marnus that was out on no-ball.

Staring at scoreboard wont tell you how hard it was to score. Ball just wasn’t comin on to bat and many other challenges.
This is a classic Test match, Pat and his team have played us into strong position, I for one watched every ball and loved it. Smith/Warner/Marnus/Uzi can all hit, but they just could not, such was the challenging state of play.
Ussie's remarkable run continues but Pakistan make strong progress in chasing down record target
Mate, I get the feeling you did NOT watch the game.
Young Naseem was bowling fire, every ball was full and tailing in with inconsistent bounce, Uzi was able to keep him out alone deserves MOM, or else Pak could have been chasing under 300.
It’s not like our batsmen were not trying to hit, Marnus tried and perished, Smith was done by Naseem. Uzi was trying to hold-off Naseem and then attack at the other end.
Once ball gets old, it’s very hard to score on this wicket, double pace, inconsistent bounce, and reverse swing, with turning-worn out wicket.
Uzi scored a 100 in extremely challenging conditions, Marnus, Warner and Smith tried level best to lift the rate. To go on and say “too much filing boots and lining stats” shows very little understanding of this Australian team, or worse understanding of Test Cricket in general.
PS: Try watching the highlights, and see the over when Hasan replaced Naseem.

Stick to all things cricket champ. Ethnic vilification probably not welcome on Roar.
Match-fixing, gunfire, infighting, triple-centuries and hat-tricks: Touring Pakistan is never dull
Disgust is a strong word Don, enjoy the cricket and maybe if you must feel disgusted violent kicks toward anything should be a candidate.
And when one’s thought process gets challenged maybe think about intrigue than ‘disgust’.
Strange moment as SA opener's furious response to unusual Qld act earns him a talking-to
That’s not the point Don. Head’s innings was brilliant too, that however does NOT diminish Usman’s dominant innings under pressure.
What I’m keen to hear from you is where did you see those nicks you mentioned? Did you even watch the innings? Cause I did, and saw no nicks.
Strange moment as SA opener's furious response to unusual Qld act earns him a talking-to
I watched the innings and did not see any nicks, I’m staggered by your bias. Extremely poor.
To me, I loved the cover-drives, 4 reverse sweeps perfectly placed, and multiple pulls beating the leg-side trap.

Fully grown adult violently kicking away someone else’s property is ok, BUT a classy and calm response by Usman is deemed as ‘very weak leader’.
The only weakness here is your bias Don.

Maxwell not playing Test cricket is what’s wrong with Australian cricket right now, I just don’t get it, why won’t he get a go.
Players like him don’t come around that often and somehow they have messed it up, reminds me of Symonds situation.
Australia’s batting depth exposed at the MCG
Vics bowled smart, lots of change of pace.
Khawaja went hard, without being reckless.
QLD bowlers, almost clueless performance they kept bowling same thing over n over again.
Usman Khawaja's back-to-back tons send a message to Test selectors
No effort to change their pace which is the first thing you do when someone is going hard and is comfortable with the wicket with no movement.
Poor from the bowlers.
McDermott and Faulkner pushing for Australian selection
Smug, arrogant and well informed are not mutually exclusive.
Talking through pure ‘text’ can at times lose its intent and appear more insulting.
I try to take it on the lighter side, and enjoy the spirit of the discussion. We all are cricket tragics and very similar in that way.

“Mental issues”
That’s really poor Ben.
Using a sickness as an insult is not ok.
Don, to me, appears informed and respectful with his responses. Yes, he is biased, show me one who isn’t.

You said it, “same people, different ways”
I could not agree more. Thanks mate, enjoyed the chat.
Australia's new 'Big Three' demolish England
Agree Paul, Taylor was brilliant.
As I said earlier, it sounds silly considering Warner caught 4 beauties, and then saying I’m worried about his slip catching.
Let’s hope his catching today is the norm and not the exception going forward.
Australia's new 'Big Three' demolish England
I respect that.
To me, I’ve lot of English friends, and few cousins, watching Australia defeat England at Elite level is supremely enjoyable, no way does that imply I don’t respect and admire opponent’s skill.
Somethings give you more pleasure, especially if their is history, watching Mitch Johnson receive all the abuse by Barmy Army, his wife and mum were not spared, somehow English Cricket Board think that’s Ok, then watching Mitch absolutely annihilate them in 2013 was pure bliss.
To each their own I suppose.
Australia's new 'Big Three' demolish England
Yeah Paul, it sounds silly critiquing his catching skills when he took 4 blinders. Here I’m doing it anyway.
As a good catcher, one needs to move their body first, and absolute last action should be move hands, Warner almost lunges at ball with hands. Worked today, and he has brilliant hand-eye.
I’m not confident long term it will work, unless he changes his technique.
Good catchers make it look easy with their movement and still frame, paradox.. I know.. almost making it look like ball found them.
Wade has the same deficiency, IMO.
Australia's new 'Big Three' demolish England
You want ‘drama’ watch Sopranos mate. I’m looking forward to watching our bowlers annihilate this English side further, and creating some fresh scars.
4-0 to Australia thank you!
Australia's new 'Big Three' demolish England
Warner took 4 slips catches, superb!
But, the way he goes at the ball, reaching for it, makes me nervous. Wade does it too.
Good slip catchers move and wait for the ball to come to them.
Little worried about his aspect.
Australia's new 'Big Three' demolish England
Glorious day of cricket.
Can’t wipe the smile of my face!
Australia's new 'Big Three' demolish England
And the Test 100 he scored, when everyone else failed except Smith.
Dropping Glenn Maxwell against England would be a huge mistake
Ever run completed successfully is a missed run out, it’s not luck, it’s cricket.
