Precisely. They’ve won a lot of premierships in March

Joey Manu leaves a huge hole in the Roosters backline - and it comes at the worst possible time for Trent Robinson

Suli is a damaging runner but in all the time he was st Manly I can’t recall seeing him pass the ball

NRL Round 7 Team Lists Late Mail: Des forced into spine reshuffle, Panthers and Dragons announce debutants

They must be going ok when they can waste a bench spot on big Sharon 😂

2024 NRL Transfer Centre: Panthers star picks Tigers over Dragons, Cowboys sign young gun but Dolphins poach another

Do you seriously think that the rucks have improved??? Oh please, they’re probably worse if anything, infringements have definitely not improved as the frequency of six agains being awarded would attest. Awarding six agains has just proven to be a way of lessening the hear off refs

NRL Round 6 Talking Points: Concussion sub needs a fix, learning about 'disruption', why does everyone hate Gutho?

If they did, just watch the number of those awarded go right down

But it wasn’t like this was introduced to combat something new. Referees always had the facility to penalise but didn’t. As for the frequency of how often they’re right or wrong? I would posit that it’s hard to tell. I do know however that it was rare that sequential penalties were given when they had to blow the whistle.

The six again is a blight, way too easy to give and so influential in swinging momentum. Because they are awarded on the run there is next to no scrutiny on them being awarded. Unlike penalties where the ref is far more accountable.

Given that Gutherson played about 2 first grade games at Manly, that is a bit of a stretch mate besides Ballin and Lyon were never as bad as this guy. Even if he learned the technique at Manly, he sure as hell perfected it at the Eels and has infected their entire squad, all of whom wave, dive and question every decision. As he is the skipper he takes the brunt if criticism. No one can deny his quality but his histrionics are very off putting.

Waddel and Sipley are two that have really surprised me. These guys were fringe first graders IMO who used to be lucky to get a spot on the bench. Both are now the real deal.

DCE and Johnson put on masterclass as Warriors and Manly can't be split after controversial Bunker call

Yeah it was clumsy and stupid but not dangerous. Cost his team the game and, no doubt the ire of , his coach and teammates… punishment enough

I hate golden point.. should’ve been a draw at 80. The extra time just exposes both sides to injury and fatigue going into next week

How good is Tof Sipley this year. Damaging runs and now with offload

DCE and Johnson put on masterclass as Warriors and Manly can't be split after controversial Bunker call

It’s just like most things he does on a football field… pointless

Aloiai is a dunce. No way that kick was headed anywhere but short. Frustrating, Manly played well enough to win but great resolve from the Wahs who are a genuine contender with a really solid well coached roster.

He has had plenty of Samoan team mates and has been in the Manly system since he was 14. So he’s hardly a stranger to the beaches. Also whilst Ivan’s achievements are no doubt highly praiseworthy, I’m far from convinced that a move to Penrith would work for him. I think he would be best away from Sydney and the awful media scrutiny of the past year where he can concentrate on his game

NRL News: Sea Eagles show Schuster the door, Eels encounter 'market value' hitch in Lomax deal, Reynolds eyes early return

100% agree with your comment… somehow the ghouls at News/Foxtel have ignored or forgotten that this is a 22 year old that they’ve mercilessly been kicking for well over a year without let up. I just hope the kid has good people around him and wherever he goes he’s afforded the opportunity to get back to show that immense talent.

It wouldn’t be their first time

There’s a ton of sunken investment in Schuster, not to mention the Fainus all of whom were kids in that system. I can’t help feel that it’s all going to rebound very badly.

Takes the attention off the six again lotto

NRL News: Wighton says 'sorry' Latrell has burning desire after Gus raises retirement call, Annesley refutes hip-drop critics

They can always pop in a Josh Schuster piece as a filler. Newscorp and Fox have been doing that one for months 😂

NRL News: Wighton says 'sorry' Latrell has burning desire after Gus raises retirement call, Annesley refutes hip-drop critics

Latrell’s problems for mine rest entirely with Souths. He is a prodigious talent capable of being a great player in a great team, however he is coddled as the biggest star in a team whose roster isn’t star studded. He is way too comfortable in that environment where he can almost be excused for thinking he’s bigger than the team. He could benefit from a code switch as strange as that sounds. Learning a new code might have a humbling effect on him, making him eager to strive for prominence

It’s an interesting bit of logic that’s for sure 😂 😂

The Vegas Hangover: All four travelling teams mired in a malaise since returning from arduous US trip

He shouldn’t have been re registered. It’s a joke

Whether NRL celebrates Jennings' milestone or not is irrelevant, the real issue is should he have been allowed back?

So much for time healing all wounds… did you feel the same about Tedesco when he did precisely the same thing to Canberra?

Five and a kick: Manly hates you, but should you love them? And are Ricky's Raiders fun now too?
