Miller had Bolton @3. Not sure what games he has been watching?

The Roar's AFL top 50 players, 10-1: Who takes top spot?

Good news then Cat. Id almost written him off when he had back issues back in 2010-2013. But he has been remarkably good for such a long time. Criminally underrated player.

The Roar's AFL top 50 players, 20-11: Superstar after superstar - but should any of these guns have cracked the top 10?

Whilst I disagree that any defender should be considered in the best 10 players of the comp. (Key back is 10x easier than being a key forward) Steven May must be in the top 10 or else this whole list should be forfeit. Best 1v1 defender, great interceptor and has easily the best field kick for any backman over 190cm. Tom Hawkins has been a key pillar for Geelong the last 7 -8 years and I’m very keen to see how they go without him for stages of the season. Foot injuries are precarious at any stage of a players career but for a player that size and age must be very worrying down at Geelong.

Think the Pies salary cap woes are way overblown in the media. Get Beams payout sorted and don’t pay overs. The Treloar speculation is concerning, as I think the rest of the group loves him, but he is the ideal player to trade away but youd only do it if it secured you Cameron. . Tom Phillips & WHE are must trade players in my opinion. Phillips lost his spot to Daicos and there are replacements for WHE are on the list. Both have a little currency especially Philips, could get a future 2nd rounder and 3rd rounder out of both. Collingwood needs to amass a heap of points to secure the young Daicos currently being touted as next years number 1 pick. Overall the pies aren’t that far away, everything went wrong this season, Sidebottom and Howe were two very senior players who missed most of the season. Need to find a bit of spark up forward.

What's the plan for the future, Collingwood?

McGuire removed him self from commentating the next weekends games if I recall correctly.

McGuire and Folau: Sins and punishment

Moore CHB and Pearce FB. Both been the two standouts.

Who’s the 2019 All-Australian centre half-back?

Major issues with this article.
The first is the inherent bias shown against McGuire, its clear you hate the bloke and he didn’t stand a chance.
You have not researched any of the bad things Mcguire has said. All of Mcguire’s bad taste comments were said off the cuff. He was on live TV or radio and its his job to say things, do I agree with any of them no, but he didn’t go out there with the intent to hurt minority groups or individuals and in all the cases he apologised either later during the broadcast or immediately the next day.
Folau sat down and created a quite detailed social media post with the very intention to hurt people and try to get them to “repent their sins”, he knew what he was doing would be hurtful to the gay community. He has also yet to apologise or even acknowledge his mistakes.
You have also completely overlooked all the good that McGuire has given to society. His good deeds and public service are endless and far out weigh that of most in this country.
Eddie is a man in his late 50s who grew up in a very different time to many on this forum, does this excuse him from his comments no but back when he was growing up this sort of blokey banter was the norm.

McGuire and Folau: Sins and punishment

Cant see Moore getting to Sydney for pick 13, seems way unders for a player who can play every Key position on the field including the ruck. Can keep him and still get May. Langdon must be signed asap and expect a deal to be announced this week.

A club-by-club guide to the 2018 AFL trade period

Get used to it. Eagles and Dockers get the biggest home ground advantage all home and away season allowing a half decent side an easy ride to the finals. Happened with both Port and West Coast last year. Ask every West Coast player this week where they want the Grand Final, all of them will say the MCG.

A West Coast win would be a victory for fairness

You would know all about them, being a WCE supporter

Mega finals preview column: Who can topple the Tiges?

Spot on Paul. These players want to be treated like professionals its about time clubs got some power back. If a player wants to leave that’s fine, the club has every right to ship you off to whatever club gives the best deal.

AFL free agency is totally unfair

I Agree with you Brian, I cant see improvement. Id argue Ben Brown is their only potential star player under 25, the rest just look like honest role players at best. I wouldn’t have the bulldogs ahead of them but the rest you mentioned are streaks ahead, Brisbane on the up also so I cant see how North go anywhere but down the ladder in 2019.

Andrew Gaff's next move will shape North Melbourne's future

You carlton people seem to have no idea the worth of certain players. It will take more than pick 24 to satisfy port at the trade table.

Port Adelaide are the AFL's plastic surgery addict

Spot on James. Absolutely delusional from Carlton Fans. Shiel is an AA Mid coming into prime age, Pick 1 would be a bargain for him.

Quest for pick 1: Can the Adelaide Crows land Jack Lukosius?

Not a chance in hell the Cats beat Melbourne by 53 points. Melbourne are the superior team and have actually had to play hard footy leading into the finals, in do or die games. Cats had a cake walk playing Freo and GC. Even with the curse of David King on their back they will beat Geelong.

Unprecedented strength in the bottom half of the eight

Could not agree more Paul D. The AFL have moved way passed SOO football, and that’s a good thing. An all star game during the bye week id be ok with, so long as it only includes players not in the finals. Similar to the pro ball weekend in the NFL where its made up of players from teams not in the Superbowl.

Should AFL State of Origin return?

Nice work Adam, welcome to the Roar. Nice article. Good luck this week in Perth, put your hand up because we need you.

ADAM TRELOAR: How a family-first attitude is helping me thrive at Collingwood

Id rather watch the A League than support North

New to AFL? Why you should support North Melbourne

Spot on Cat. The balance is out and currently the players have far too much power. Also the fact that Carlton are paying 95% of what say Richmond are paying is wrong too.

Less is more when it comes to AFL trades

Id love to watch St Kilda smash the blues tonight. I actually got a lot of enjoyment last Saturday arvo watching how terrible the blues are. Their effort was so poor it was actually funny. Casey VFL side would have beaten the blues last week easily with that effort.

St Kilda Saints vs Carlton Blues: Friday Night Forecast

Beams is an absolute gun. Would be a huge get for any club to land him.

Rory Sloane re-signs with Crows

In that case, Collingwood would have received an extra pick at the end of the first round last year. Hardly fair. The criteria should be longer than 4 years, and maybe based more on ladder position over a sustained period, rather than just missing the 8.

AFL must give Blues priority pick: Denis Pagan

Cant agree with Pagan. Stuff the club, if they say they don’t want the pick don’t give it to them. Carlton’s issues were self inflicted. Those penalties Pagan brings up was because they cheated there way to a flag. Very fair penalty in my book.

AFL must give Blues priority pick: Denis Pagan

Can we get another article about Carlton? Something needs to be done. They just got absolutely smashed by a fellow bottom 4 side. Watching the game Saturday arvo it was plain to see that the players have lost all interest. There was no effort at all. Brisbane routinely scored some of the easiest goals ive seen during an AFL game. Surely even the blues fans must start to ask questions of a coach who has clearly lost the players. Prime example is straight after half time, you would think the players would at least put up a fight for 5 mins to start the second half, not to be as the lions scored within 1 min in the most pathetic way. Take nothing away from Brisbane they did what they had to do, but that Carlton performance would see them losing to a VFL team. It pains me to say this but the Lions youth seems miles and miles ahead of Carlton. Weitering has shown zero development and infact looks a worse player now than when he was drafted.

Six hot takes from AFL Round 16

Smith is useless, he wont play at AFL level, so stop including him in your lists.

As they surge back into premiership contention, Collingwood's optimism has clearly been vindicated
