The media is not there to be an Eddie Jones cheer squad . It’s not China and he is not our beloved leader . There are enough of the brown nose brigade to sustain Eddie’s ego .
Eddie’s BS , selections , behaviour and results hardly encourage support .
It is hard to imagine a worst preparation of team , particularly one that demanded confidence and sound coaching .
There is a great deal of doubt all self inflicted .
. Eddie must have doubt about his five teams and five losses . They are his teams .
. RA must have doubts about their messiah . Not just his five losses here but his five only wins last year against Wales , Italy , Japan and Australia twice . Hardly top tier sides .
. The players must have doubts . How could Gordon or Donaldson rate themselves above Cooper or the solid successful Lolisio . How could Vunivalu regard anything he has done as test class . Leota and Kemeny would have to know that Samu is far better than they are . Uelese must know that he has never performed .
. The punters certainly have doubts . They can spot BS and confusion .
. The rest of World Rugby also have doubt about the strength and future of Rugby in Australia . While gleefully watching RA and Eddie destroy our future .
Leave Eddie alone - at least until after the World Cup
There has been little criticism . Most of those here have been blowing wind up Eddie’s kilt and faithfully reciting his BS . Most have been putting lippy on the piglets he has selected and his game plans !
Eddie has lost it completely this time . It started to show in SA and has built up ever since . He can’t blame anyone except himself .
I really wonder if he is OK and if he is up to the job .

Nothing wrong with Tom as Brumbies supporters know . Samu is a different type of player with more mobility . It should not have a choice between them . They should be playing together with Valentini .
I doubt that we will get past the pool , if we did it would be interesting to see how Tom went against the best . Remember that both SA and NZ did not play their best against him .

I rate Ntmack as the best because of the way he complements DuPond . Great halves come in pairs with combination rather than individual brilliance . Aaron Smith can play with anyone . Danny Care with Marcus Smith . Farrell , Sexton and Russell anyone . Quadie with Genia . He would be best with Lonergan . As would the Wallabies . Lolisio is not used to playing with an unpredictable McDermott but he would soon learn , particularly if McDermott could learn to pass .

Starting with fact that we have very few world class players and few real test quality players , and that Rennie and Jones had different agendas .
. Rennie was engaged to take us to this WC and had been taking the hard decisions and the risk over 2022 trying to find any latent talent . There was nothing soft about Rennie .
. Jones was engaged to take us to this WC and beyond to 2027 . He realised that change was our only hope . Not much hope , but some .
Common sense suggests that any coach would assemble the best possible group of players for the immediate task ahead ; the 2023 WC . Jones hasn’t done that !
I knew that there was no future with Gordon , Foley , Toomua , Hodge . I know that Hooper , Cooper , Slipper , Alaatoa , JOC , Samu and White have no future beyond 2023 but we need them in Paris . We also need players of the calibre of Sio , Faingaa , Lolisio , Wilson , the Lonergans and the Wrights . We don’t need Vunivalu , Donalson , Kemeny , Leota , Uelese or the boy props . I’ll ride with Carter Gordon and Jorgensen .

. Petaia in all areas
. Georgouson is a boy
. Uelese if he breaks into a jog
. Kellaway if he tackles someone
. Kerevi when it suits him .
Any injury that requires Donaldson , Uelese , Leota , Kemeny , Gleeson or Vunivulu will be interesting .

It’s done and dusted ! The ‘ Charlatan ‘ hath spaken and the devoted hath lapped from his plate .
Pete Samu needed three Red cards to attract attention . Truly world class we will miss him at 7 .

Jed Holloway also needed a couple of Red cards instead of busting a gut . Ideal at 6 .
Ryan Lonergan is the ideal go to man when it hits the fan . Better than McDermott in all areas except zip .
Michael Hooper is past it .
Quadie will be missed . Gordon is a school boy and Donaldson is a bum .
Kemeny , Gleeson and Leota are BS .
The weaknesses in this squad are the halves and the centres . There is also defensive deficiencies around Petaia , Koreibeti , Nawaqua and Kellaway .

Any squad with 7 players from our worst team ; The Rebels , and only 6 from our best Team ; The Brumbies is designed to fail , and fail it has done . Four losses for Eddie’s Test side , one for his A side .
The glaring weaknesses are Vunivulu , Donaldson , Uelese and Kemeny . The puzzling ones are Leota and Gleeson instead of Samu , Wright or Wilson and the weakness at 10 . Despite the hype Gordon has done nothing to suggest that he is of Test class . Donaldson was a failure . The obvious insurance would be Lolisio who has never let us down . Eddie’s problem is that he wants players with a set of skills that have taken them a long way to suddenly become someone else . He usually names one of the greats . No one we have ever will become Dan Carter , Sexton , Botha , McCaw , Nonu , Conrad Smith , Marx , George Smith , Owen Farrell , Aaron Smith or DuPont . They may well one day if allowed to develop their own game be added to the short list of the truly great players .
I have no problem with Skelton as Captain . I don’t regard McDermott as a test quality half .
