'Complete dismantling': Eddie apologises for World Cup debacle, Hoops calls out moment that summed it up

C’mon man! This is exactly the media’s job. They don’t exist to carry water for Fast Eddie or the ARU.

Nice

Picture worth a thousand words: Eddie's leadership team looks locked in - and the missing man who could top it

I believe you. I didn’t have access to Watch any Rugby much less southern hemisphere rugby until about 2010 when ESPN picked up super rugby out of nowhere. I know there are other guys that have problems with this kind of thing.

Savea CITED for throat-slit 'brain explosion,' faces prospect of lengthy ban

I’d love coles if he wasn’t constantly doing cheap stuff off the ball. Yes the wallabies are my adopted team for better or worse, but I like rugby and watch any of it I can get my hands on at a reasonable cost. The guy has a clear history of this and it’s pretty predictable. I don’t think that’s out of line to say.

In this thread: literally dozens of New Zealand apologists. As a neutral, I get it, the fella is a very cool player and probably deserves the benefit of the doubt, for what was clearly an unsportsmanlike gesture. But Chill out. Thou doth protest too much.

In other news, regarding the Coles thuggery, it’s always those you most expect. Dude continues to prove us right over and over. The guy needs to take a little wall-to-wall sensitivity training from an opposition one day. It would take some doing to give it to him I suspect, but he deserves it nonetheless.

As a fan of what my tribe calls brown liquor, I’ve just looked up this Lark. Is it worth $150 per fifth? Is that price in freedom bucks or some southern hemisphere dollarydoos? Any good comps ti global brands I may have had prior? Many questions but I’ve got a bottle in my e-cart and debating on hitting buy.

Predicted Rebels XV: Key duo racing the clock as Wallabies utility prepares for move to front-line

This is the best comment on here. He ran off one of the most indispensable players in Australia. He will may be a genuinely pious and straight edge man, but he comes off like an insufferable hardo who can manage neither players with decent self-esteem nor players who are struggling personally. If you’re going to be unlikable, you have to win.

Exclusive: 'There needed to be change' - Thorn on turning Reds around, why drugs battles were personal, and his future

I’d buy that. I knew very little of advanced tactics when I was playing because I’d never really seen much proper rugby and was focused on getting my own job done. But I was a big lump and before games my kiwi coach would typically give me someone to make sure I laid a hit on or laid on a little longer than strictly necessitated. Makes sense, but where I played there was a real risk of fists if it went too far

Rugby News: Wallabies return for Tahs and Reds, ABs veteran announces retirement, England axe star

He epitomizes an Aussie turn of phrase that I love: wind-up merchant. I wish he stayed on the Itoje end of the spectrum rather than the Bakkies end. Regardless he was as good as it gets for a long stretch.

Rugby News: Wallabies return for Tahs and Reds, ABs veteran announces retirement, England axe star

Ok I’ll bite. Which squidge video? It’s hard to imagine a guy with a usual workrate like itoje’s is lacking in work ethic. Last week he was clearly off the pace and made only a couple of carries but was second highest in tackles.

ANALYSIS: Why the first week of 6N was a resounding success for the Wallabies and Eddie Jones

I believe you. It’s pretty dicey for me once I count past 10.

To be fair those are great to watch. One of the best Oz exports alongside the little bottles of ginger beer and rebranded Holdens (RIP Pontiac G8).

Thanks for the write up. Great weekend of rugby for us Neutrals™. Apropos of nothing, you’ve drafted a 76 word sentence by my count. That’s a huge achievement that deserves recognition.

No argument there. I was just pointing out that the Reds staff hasn’t inspired much confidence lately in any area including player management

'Won't happen': Rennie's blunt reaction to working with Eddie, addresses future, Wisemantel exit and review

Funny thing I met Beau Robinson at a bar in my city randomly one night. I guess he’d somehow gotten in touch with some of our Fijian brothers and heard it was where some rugby guys hung out. Nicest guy you’d want to meet. Long way from home

Making sure Thorn & Co don’t let the biggest guy and most indispensable on the pitch play 80 every week.

'Won't happen': Rennie's blunt reaction to working with Eddie, addresses future, Wisemantel exit and review

I hate to see what happened to the Reds. I started watching super rugby because ESPN randomly had it available on the XBox app and I’d cut cable so was looking for all the free content out there. I thought those Quade/Digby/Higgers/Genia teams were so fun to watch. Its so crazy how bad they are now at retaining and deploying talent

Go ahead. Say it with your chest buddy.
