I am your witness on that!!!!!!
And I learned to always follow your lead!!!!!
'If you're humble it's what you have to do': Argentina coach's classy call after record defeat
I don’t think Cheika will get the job. Ledesma and him are very good friends. It would feel like a betrayal.

Social media asked for his head at the end of the year (at that moment the extension of his contract was due).
I think it that UAR authorities couldn’t support his position anymore.

Jag is one of the terms in question. Loosing the chance to play SR meant a huge set back for Argentina.

Another argument to support the B Isles idea is that the top SA teams are currently playing there (in the rainbow cup), so even logistically it makes sense l, since most players are there a lot of the time.
The Lions series against South Africa should be played in the British Isles
And Uruguay
Nationalisation of foreign-born rugby players vs the selection of Irish players overseas
As I understand Cheicka did play a significant part in the new found tackling art.
A tribute to the blue wall of Argentina
Great piece Captain Chaos!!! I read somewhere that due to the different quarantine periods between players from Argentina and the ones coming from Europe,
there was hardly any time to prepare train and coordinate attacking strategies.
Apparently the idea of focusing on defense worked.

Great piece as usual Nobes!!! It tells the story of a journey that has started and will continue for years to come.
Los Pumas against all odds
You should include Namibia and maybe another Country in the Europe / Africa B group
Why Georgia deserve to be in the Six Nations
In America the ARCh is a competition involving USA, Canada, Uruguay, Brasil, Chile and Argentina XV. It has been getting better and better in the few (I think 3?) years it has been in place.
This is a model that helps developing the teams (this is the base for Uruguay’s win over Fiji from las RWC)
Why Georgia deserve to be in the Six Nations
Also, the win over Uruguay came after Uruguay had only half a week to recover from beating Fiji (which was huge and extremaly demanding)
Why Georgia deserve to be in the Six Nations
Hi Jacko,
The thing is that, if you belong to the first or second band you have a 25% chance of getting into “the group of death”. On the other hand if you are ranked 9-12 you MAKE the pool of death.
Still, as said by Mzilikazi I understand the the rank that will be used for the draw is the one from December 2019, so….. the discussion seems pointless.
The quick questions: Don’t cry for me, Argentina
I get that, but, in fact, SA has not played at all. So maybe it has not so much to do with the number of games. I think, (and if that’s the case, that’s the case and it’s ok) that perhaps you don’t see Argentina getting the RWC.
Still, it was just a doubt that came to my mind.
Cheers.
Which rugby nation will be the best in the world by 2023?
Hi Unders,
That was in fact interesting to read. I do have a question. Why did you include Ireland and excluded Argentina. Ireland never played a semi in a RWC while Argentina played 2.
Also, this week’s victory over the ABs means a start with intent of the road to 2023.
Just a question.
Thanks

As always, great article.
It got me thinking, how about something similar to Arg XV whithin the ARc but with Maoris AB, Oz XV, Jap, Fiji, Tonga and Samoa.
That way you get a higher competition and you can get NZ and Australia involved.
Japan should join Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands in an alliance
Good piece Carlos, very interesting idea
Why doesn't World Rugby use GPS tracking to monitor offside?
Congrats Teros!!!!!!!!!! You should he proud!!!!!
The Uruguay captain's reaction to huge Fiji win is what the Rugby World Cup is all about
Up to top 15 and no players from Argentina. They are either superb (and will take all the best 15 positons, which is unlikely) or there will be very few (one or two?)
The Roar’s 50 greatest players in Rugby World Cup history: 20-16
Thanks Wingo!!!! very interesting reading (I love the stats pieces).
Didn’t realize that Argentina was above 50% against 6N countries.
I did know that the 3 times Argentina beat Ireland it costed Ireland the qualification for the next fase (99 the knock off for QF, in 2007 Group Stage and in 2015 QF).
Lets hope that Argentina’s record against France incresases this year!!!!
Southern dominance and other World Cup facts
Great piece Wingo!!!!
Do you have any idea how Uruguay is ranked in the list you wrote about?

Could it be to favor the NH teams at the RWC?
The Rugby Championship Week 1: Blow out the cobwebs
Has anyone read about the changes in the scrum rules? What’s your opinion?
I find it curious that the entire panel of experts called to review the rules (a week before the start of the RCh) was composed by NH players.

No argument here…. I agree with that. I was just commenting briefly what happend last year.
