The most costly drops… Capitalised on, in truly the most astonishing fashion, by a very unique and gutsy talent.
Hats off to you Maxi, and you too skipper!! What an innings we’ve just witnessed.

Glenn the Greatest - ever! Maxwell's magnificent double-ton rescues Aussies, stuns Afghanistan in WC epic

Girls showing the boys what desire, application and ticker looks like.
Bravo Wallaroos.

'Hell of a win': 14-player Wallaroos hold on for stunning win over Wales to send coach out on a high

Kiwis barely even got out of third gear. Roos didn’t even turn up. Not fitting of a test match occasion, and the Oz players should really be ashamed of that performance. They’re in the history books now. And deservedly so.

Madge-ic: Kiwis 'shock the rugby league world' as Maguire masterclass hands Kangaroos record defeat

I’m leaning the same way Ad. The pompous are due, and as you mention, will rise to the occasion. Bookies haven’t quite written them off, but in a two horse race, and with the head to head rivalry sure to play a part, £2.40 is juicy enough odds for me.

How about no, Joe: Any way you look at it, this all talk, no action England team not ‘man for man’ better than Aussies

It was a cracking test wasn’t it. From the haka to the final whistle. I’ll disagree with you though, on next weekends result. It showed tonight that the Roos have the class edge in the spine and on the bench, and should have enough across the park to keep the rabid home crowd reasonably quiet.

ANALYSIS: Kangaroos left edge clicks to down Kiwis - but Madge has to find a solution to his Manu problem

Yeah yeah ok Phil… I’ll admit the Dnieper was not my finest hour.. but I was practically hung out to dry by the bossman.
Still, and what’s important here, is that opportunities multiply as they are seized.

Breathe easy Aussies, World Rugby has devalued the 2027 RWC by expansion - and even the Wallabies are safe

I think the idea of spreading the games reach is not only commendable, but vital. Sure the format will need tinkering, but what rugby lover in their right mind could possibly be against broadening the games horizons?

I’m on Hass. Reckon we’re due a prop win.

2023 NRL grand final odds: Winner, first try-scorer, and Clive Churchill betting markets

Now that they’re out, we’re probably going to see the WBs finally put in the sort of performance we’ve all been waiting for. Too little to late. But I can see it happening, just to sprinkle a little more frustration on long suffering supporters.

'It's incredible!': The once ridiculous question that shows how far Wallabies stocks have fallen after 'bad hangover'

Should be a belter. I fancy the Brions.. by 17.

After years of blowouts and shockers, do we finally have an AFL Grand Final worth watching?

Oi oi oi

This is the brutal reality: There are Aussies desperate to see Wallabies fail, and many want to see the sport's complete demise

I don’t think it was so much the content of the presentation.. it was probably the ‘High Performance’ in front of the ‘Manager’ on the document front page corner authored by, that had them all baffled.

'Semi pro sport at best': Ex-Ireland HP manager's scathing critique of Aussie rugby, and dire warning for its future

Pretty sure Damo yeah. Born in Charleville many moons ago. Onto my 5th 10 year passport now. Never travel without Vegemite. Love a curry pie washed down with a Bundy ginger beer.
I refer to homeland as Oz rather than Aus. Guess it’s one of my many quirks, but not so uncommon I don’t think??

That was big of Biggar. The Welsh certainly love their rugger and no doubt would feel a bit sheepish about dishing out the flogging. I remember being in Cardiff for a test many years ago, and that particular night, the Welsh didn’t turn up and the WBs toweled them by a similar margin. After the game in the many pubs we crawled through, countless Welshman engaged with us, apologised for their team and their insipid performance in not making a game of it, congratulated us on the win and bought us beers. All night.
It was a humbling experience to be amongst such gracious and generous losers who were so obviously stinging.
So now the roles are reversed, I duly fronted up to the office yesterday and faced my Welsh colleagues and made the very same apologies, almost to their embarrassment. They were happy obviously, but not a skerrick of gloating came my way.
They’re a good mob. I wish them well in the latter stages.

RWC News: 'Blink rate goes bizarre' - Human lie detector studies Eddie, Hansen wants Brumbies-Rebels merger, Dupont upbeat

I reckon Teddy’s time is up. Great servant but time to embrace the next gen.
Having said that he’ll probably get the jersey.

With embarrassment of riches, who will Meninga prefer as Kangaroos custodian?

Here’s hoping his 84th win is in blue and white.

Panthers star up alongside Immortal Gasnier as biggest winners in premiership history

Congratulations to LN. Well deserved. Nothing more to see or say here. Move along. GF in a few sleeps.

COMMENT: Lachie Neale's baffling win proves it's time to take Brownlow voting off the umps

I can’t understand the intercode bollocks that carries on in Oz, mind you it’s not exclusively an Oz thing. Happens everywhere. But coming from a rural QLD family, my Nan and Pop instilled in me a fervour and passion for pretty much all sports, even bowls and croquet. More than that, they demonstrated a love for anyone wearing green and gold. Didn’t matter what you played, if you were wearing the green and gold you had their support, rain hail or shine. I’m cut from the exact same cloth.
The thought of any one Ozzy wishing upon the demise of the Wallabies and rugby, stings. The thought of many, cuts deep.
Having spent several decades consumed by all manner of sport it’s safe to say I’m a fan. And while I certainly don’t have any answers on how to address this trend, I’m sure as sh*t not willing to give up on it. Or the Wallabies.

This is a different Lion. Chastened from recent failings in finals and now battle hardened. The nerves showed in the first stanza, and they looked stunned, largely due to the supreme blues pressure and accuracy on goal.
But they settled, didn’t panic, and started to assert authority. And once they got their noses in front, they never really looked like surrendering the lead. That’s how I saw it anyway.
As for the granny.. well I don’t think they’ll suffer the same first Q jitters. And they’ll have enough across the park to take the chocolates. By a couple of kicks.

Finals Fix: One quarter from hell couldn't keep the Lions out of the big dance - but another might just cost them the flag

It’s a shame the WBs don’t possess the professionalism and smarts required to adapt to the ref officiating. Says alot really.

Exclusive: Wallabies set for fly-half switch in do-or-die World Cup Test against Wales

How many times do the WBs need to be taught the lesson of staying on the right side of the whistle? At what point will it sink in? On the plane home Oct 2nd presumably.

Exclusive: Wallabies set for fly-half switch in do-or-die World Cup Test against Wales

I’m finding it extremely difficult to see anything other than doom and gloom for the WBs this weekend. But while there’s still a faint glimmer of hope, I’ll hold onto it. With a cheeky tenner on Wales 7+ to pay for my consolation beers in case.

Five Things: Eddie's mad scientist coaching group exposed - but Wallabies won't fear Wales like Fiji

Yep.. if you sow poor seeds you can only expect poor yield.

Five Things: Eddie's mad scientist coaching group exposed - but Wallabies won't fear Wales like Fiji

Agree Doc.. they aren’t, but on current form, they’ve probably got just enough. Certainly to start slight faves in my books.

'Eddie got found out': Jones in spotlight as 'ferocious' Fiji leave Wallabies RWC hopes hanging by thread in 69 year first

Schooled in every facet of the game bar the lineout. Thoroughly deserved victory for Fiji and a mammoth task for Oz to get out of the group now. The Welsh will be licking their chops.
