Interesting you say that Ozibatla, I actually thought the pitch (from memory) was very slow and two-paced and not quite what I would associate with a WACA-like pitch. I could well be wrong though
Who could come into the Australian Test team?
Very weak of the BCCI to decline a day-night Test in Adelaide. Arguably of the top spectacles in Test cricket every year now. Says a lot about their character really
Who could come into the Australian Test team?
Hey mate, I think the think with Handscomb is his average at Test level. He averages 44, and whilst i can understand that he left the team in bad form, stats suggest with an improved technique he will be very handy.
Whilst S. Marsh has had many chances, he is just about always the best Shield batter when he gets dropped, and if runs are a currency (in Langer’s words), he will continue to be picked by that theory!
Who could come into the Australian Test team?
Agreed, as he showed yesterday he is a gun when on song. Would rival Hazlewood when they’re both at their best in my opinion.
Who could come into the Australian Test team?
Thanks Lachs, that was my intention when making the article 🙂
Why your club will make the top eight in 2019
My guess would that would have to do with the sample size; given Daniher didn’t play very many games at all. I just think he will play a key role in them getting better!

Yes you are remembering correctly, did a good job too. Had the frame and athleticism. As others had said, hopefully a lot will pick him up as a defensive coach if he wishes to stay in the game.
Brisbane defender Frost calls time on AFL career at just 26
Apoligies Tom, I was unaware. I guess the wording worked out okay by accident with the “one too many knocks” that Paul pointed out haha
Brisbane defender Frost calls time on AFL career at just 26
Agreed, as much as I think his age may work against him, he is definitely a man of class and form out in the middle. You never know!
Who could come into the Australian Test team?
Cheers John!
I do think Mitch will likely be picked, however competition is hyped up in the mainstream media which I do think has an effect on who the selectors pick (to an extent).
Who could come into the Australian Test team?
Exactly that, did a great job in cracking the big time first of all

Hey Michael, cheers for the compliment, very nice of you.
I think you are definitely hitting the target when you speak about how for a long time now the Swans have been doubted. I can’t say I really thought into it originally, but now that you mention it you bring up a good point. They have been very very good at proving critics wrong, and for their sake I hope they also prove me wrong! I love the young guns up forward in Hayward and Florent; if they work well with Buddy their conversion rate from I50’s to goals is bound to be up there with the best.
Cheers again
Why your club will make the top eight in 2019
What do you mean?? A reason was given for each team as to why they can make the Top 8. It was harder and for vague for the lower teams, but nevertheless fulfilled. Given I wrote the article, fairly sure I’m the only one who can actually say whether the ‘premise of the article’ was fulfilled. You’re the only one that doesn’t see it 🙂
Why your club will make the top eight in 2019
Cheers both Don and Birdman; got no clue what this bloke is on about. As for IAP, I provided what the headline stated would be discussed. It was a positive, light-hearted suggestion on why your team could make the eight. Would also love to know what part you think is bias…
Why your club will make the top eight in 2019
I agree mostly with that, but as I said before to others, I think Hogan and Lobb are a lot bigger inclusions than people think, and will have a big impact.
Why your club will make the top eight in 2019
Bowls unreal length; a very very hard player to play with a new ball. Would be a nightmare on the WACA of all pitches too.
Who could come into the Australian Test team?
I never said he ever struggled with it? It’s just a bonus that he has played in England and has faced the Duke ball more than other players as a result. Will help his Test claim for next years Ashes.
Who could come into the Australian Test team?
Really loved reading the article. I don’t follow rugby as much (AFL fan), but the read was very interesting. I think the grassroots is where it’s at; a lot more kids are deciding to play AFL over rugby. Very non-bias too which was great
Dear Wallabies, sort it out ASAP please. Sincerely, all rugby fans
I think the loss of Daniher for almost all of last year really hurt them last year. Blokes like Bellchambers and Laverde can go alright for a little while up there, but their lack of presence down there on top of their slow start killed them. This year is definitely their season to rise up.
Why your club will make the top eight in 2019
Agreed, both teams will be very interesting to track throughout the season. Both are capable of finals, but also rely on someone we’re not expecting to fail, fail.

Ah yep, fair enough. Also sounds accurate
