As a CCM supporter and Central Coast resident, there will be no loss of supporters from the Coast to support the Western Sydney Team, the coast is huge and some already commute just to get to Gosford. It will open up new opportunities to travel, somewhat, local, kind of like travelling to a Sydney or Jets game, but to support the Mariners against the new club, not merely to swap alliances. As for SFC?
Too many doubts over new A-League club
No worries, definitely not a wind up, I would love to see another team into the A-League, just questioning its ability to survive. I was mentioning the melbourne club in terms of the ‘professionalism’, much like Harry Kewell talked of, at and around the club, not in particular their displays on the park. I see it hard for the new side to establish that status with the little time they’ve got. In terms of the Roar, if the new team was to secure someone like Broich, surely that would be considered a marquee signing, no?

Apologies, Mavs took down the Heat..
NBA Playoffs: Heat feel it, Spurs deal it, Thunder seal it, Celtics steal it
Its much easier said then done, but I’ll take your points as guidance rather than a ‘bag-out’
You quickly assume I was talking about MVFC, but what about the Heart? (finished sixth)
And maybe I used the wrong word to describe the effects a marquee signing will bring, but I think most know what I mean. In terms of the developing players looking up to him, the professionalism he will bring, the talent he will showcase etc…
Too many doubts over new A-League club
Most points are extremely valid, but I still cannot see the Blues winning the first game despite wanting them too!
The Maroons just have a winning aura, and if the Blues do win the first game, QLD will somehow pull through and take the series.
The comments on Jarryd Hayne are more than fair, and we should just be happy he isn’t at fullback, because his defence is poor and when his club side gets on the back foot, currently always, he seems to get lazy and lose the faith, which is not origin worthy.
The Morris brothers would be exceptional, and rarely let their club teams down, and Brett should be in place of Hayne. The omission of Watmough is surprising, but I feel Tariq Sims would also have offered much to the squad. Many disregard the City vs Country match, but his performance was outstanding, and he would offer some ‘grunt’ everyone seems to want in Origin football and the Maroons have such a monstrous bench, Taylor, Gillet, Hannant and Shillington, that Tariq may have helped to counter. Only time will tell…
WIZ: The Blues can win State of Origin game one
I’m not predicting the future here mate, it is simply a question on how they will fair in terms of pulling a crowd and their ability to maintain it. Only time will tell, and where did you pull that statistic from??
