Told ya Cav didn’t need a lead out team. Man’s close to unbeatable in bunch sprints, always seems to find space even when there seems to be none. Mark Renshaw could learn a bit of that from him, unfortunately.

Tony Martin’s already said he’s going for stage wins, specifically in the Prologue and time trials. GC is just a bonus if it happens, apparently. What with him having said he’s at 95% readiness at the moment, with the possibility of getting another 3 or 4% soon, I think he’s a huge threat for the prologue.

Team Sky's 'balancing act' is manageable
I think Cav has shown he is more than capable of choosing the right competitor’s wheel when it comes to bunch sprints. A sprint train is still handy of course, especially like the old HTC leadouts on the Champs Elysées, but with no dominant sprint team and trains getting swamped like in the Giro, letting the Manx Missile duke it out on his own would make sense.
