Washington Nationals coach goes berserk after getting ejected

Well, if you’ve already been ejected you may as well leave it all out on the field.

That’s what appears to have been Washington Nationals manager David Martinez’s logic after he got himself booted out of his side’s 4-6 loss at the hands of the New York Mets.

Martinez had been arguing with umpire Bruce Dreckman following Howie Kendrick’s own ejection in the aftermath of a contentious call.

While Dreckman let Martinez vent his spleen for some time, he eventually decided enough was enough, which prompted an even angrier response.

The defeat is the Nationals’ fifth in-a-row, leaves them languishing in second-last place in the National League’s East division, and only adds to the pressure already on Martinez.
