Brisbane will look to bounce back and even up the series at home in this second game against the Wildcats. Game 1 was a blowout from start to finish as the Wildcats ran out 30-point winners at home.

Game 1 was all about the Wildcats and their ability to outscore and out defend the Bullets at home, holding Brisbane to just 59 points for the game and just four points in the final quarter.

Perth again look to be finals bound after game 1.

Brisbane showed some fight to start the second quarter tying up the scores at halftime and then staying within shot in the third quarter, however that third-quarter surge would be their ultimate last roll of the dice for the game as Perth turned up the intensity playing some of the best defensive basketball you will see to shut the door on the Bullets.

A solid all-round performance from the Wildcats with Bryce Cotton again showing why he is one of the best to play the game in Australia right now leading with 22 points.

Cameron Bairstow was held in check for the game scoring just five points for the Bullets in what was a bad night all around for the team.

With the game heading to Brisbane for the second game of the best of three series can Brisbane turn it around enough to get even in this series or will the wounds from Game 1 still be too raw for them?

Perth will want to close out the series so they can sit at home and enjoy the second semi-final between Melbourne and Sydney.

In what should be a much better game from Brisbane thanks to the home crowd Saturday will surely be a more exciting game of basketball.

Perth though seem too strong and after the Game 1 performance, I can see them wanting to close it out and send Brisbane packing.
