Oklahoma City Thunder rookie Hamidou Diallo has taken out the 2019 NBA All-Star weekend’s dunk contest in Charlotte with a little help from one of the league’s greatest legends.
The 20-year-old called out four-time NBA champion Shaquille O’Neal onto the court to help him take home the title, jumping over the 216cm giant and sending fans into a frenzy.
To cap things off, Diallo unveiled a Superman costume underneath his shirt, in case the feat wasn’t already super enough.
After notching up a best-possible score of 50, Diallo would take on New York’s Dennis Smith Jr in the finals, who he would defeat 88-85.
Diallo dedicated the win to his mother.
The 196cm tall guard was selected by the Thunder with the 45th pick in last year’s draft.
