The Philadelphia 76ers have clinched their opening round playoff series 4-1 against the Brooklyn Nets. However, as has been the case for much of the series, not without drama.

With less than two minutes left and the 76ers boasting a 27-point lead, Australian Jonah Bolden, who appeared for 14 minutes over the course of the Game 5 victory and scored six points, was ejected after getting involved in a heated altercation with Rodions Kurucs.

Bolden had helped block a Kurucs shot before the Aussie couldn’t hide his anger after getting clipped in the lip as the Nets small forward pushed him away.

Kurucs would also be ejected over the incident, along with Greg Monroe and Zanan Musa.

As for the game, it was Joel Embiid who led the way for the 76ers with 23 points while Ben Simmons chipped in with 13 points, six assists and five rebounds.

Philadelphia will next take on the Toronto Raptors in the second round of the playoffs.
