Ben Simmons puts Nugget on skates with filthy fake

Aussie 76ers star Ben Simmons was at it again in Philadelphia’s home win over the Denver Nuggets.

The game was the first the 76ers have played since a blockbuster swap with the LA Clippers prior to the NBA trade deadline, which included the acquisition of Tobias Harris.

While Simmons didn’t quite reach his usual heights against the Nuggets, notching up 12 points, four rebounds and six assists, the 22-year-old produced a brilliant play with less than two minutes left to help seal the victory.

Standing near the key, Simmons managed to pull off a superb fake which completely fooled Nuggets guard Malik Beasley and helped the Australian to an important dunk.

For much of the match JJ Redick starred, registering a game-high 34 points, while in his first appearance for the 76ers Harris would contribute 14 of his own, along with eight rebounds.
