Golden State GM's emotional response to Kevin Durant's injury
Golden State Warriors President of basketball operations Bob Myers gave an emotional address after Kevin Durant suffered an Achilles injury in Game 5 of the NBA finals against Toronto.
Myers wanted to take the blame himself for bringing Durant back after he previously recovered from injury. “Kevin Durant loves to play basketball. And the people that questioned whether he wanted to get back to this team were wrong,” Myers said. “He’s one of the most misunderstood people. He’s a good teammate, he’s a good person. It’s not fair.”
