Coming off a thrilling 86-83 win, the Boomers are prepared to do it all again against Germany tonight and go undefeated through the basketball group stage at the Tokyo Olympics.

The Aussie big men were industrious against the Italians a few nights ago, with Jock Landale, Nic Kay and Aron Baynes contributing huge buckets.

Unfortunately, Baynes is out for the remainder of the tournament after a freak neck injury in the Boomers’ change rooms. That likely means Australia will call on Duop Reath, who has barely seen the court in Tokyo, for some important minutes against their German opposition.

What time are the Boomers playing tonight?
Boomers vs Germany will tipoff at 6:20pm AEST, which is 5:20pm local time in Tokyo. If you’re tuning in from the Western part of Australia, the Boomers will get underway at 4:20pm AWST.

How to watch the Australian Boomers vs Germany?
Channel 7 and 7plus hold the exclusive rights to the Tokyo Olympics and are the only places you can watch the Games legally.

Channel 7 will likely show Boomers vs Germany on their main free-to-air channel, which is channel 70 in metro areas. However, due to a programming clash, the start of the Boomers’ Group B match will be broadcast on either 7mate or 7two. Given the broadcaster is prone to switch between events, expect this match to be shown intermittently across each channel, particularly as 7 saw no issues toggling to the swimming heats at the end of the Boomers first game.

If you’d like to have more control, you can live stream the Boomers’ encounter on 7plus for free online. 7plus offer an app for Mac and Android devices, available through the appropriate app store. However, you can also access 7plus directly through your web browser.

Most smart TVs also allow you to reach the Olympic streaming service by searching from the main application page, as do gaming consoles. You can also stream the Australian Boomers in action on your TV via casting devices such as Chromecast.

The 7plus app will give you the choice to view with Channel Seven commentary, including former Boomers greats Andrew Gaze and Andrew Bogut, or a world feed with a neutral commentator through the basketball streaming option.
