Aussie fighter has the tables turned on him in stunning defeat at UFC Vancouver
Misha Cirkunov has handed Australian fighter Jimmy Crute his first defeat in professional fighting at UFC Vancouver.
After getting out of a grapple Crute looked set to extend his undefeated streak to 11 wins midway through the first round, pinning Cirkunov to the canvas and reigning blows down.
However just as Crute appeared ready to land the final strikes of the fight, all of a sudden the Canadian was able to sweep Crute, flipping him and completely turning the tables as he put the 23-year-old in a Peruvian Necktie choke.
The victory is the 15th of Cirkunov’s career.
