Gone in 66 seconds: Russian fighter's devastating KO

Russia’s Sergei Pavlovich has well and truly bounced back after the first defeat of his professional MMA career in his UFC debut.

The 26-year-old, who was defeated by fight veteran Alistair Overeem in November last year, made short work of Marcelo Golm in front of home fans at UFC St Petersburg.

Pavlovich needed just 66 seconds to put away Golm in the opening round, getting his opponent up against the wall of the cage after unleashing a series of big punches.

A final right upper-cut would seal the deal for the 13th win of his MMA career.

Meanwhile, the defeat spells more trouble for Golm, who has suffered three consecutive losses in the Octagon from just four bouts in the UFC.
