Lomachenko's brutal KO sends opponent face first into the canvas

Having defeated Anthony Crolla, Vasyl Lomachenko has successfully defended his WBA and WBO lightweight titles.

After almost claiming victory towards the end of the third round, it was a final right hook in the fourth that got the job done for the Ukrainian.

The win sees Lomachenko’s record improve to 13 wins from 14 bouts including 10 knockout finishes, while for Crolla, it is the seventh loss of his career from 44 fights.

As for what’s next on the horizon for Lomachenko, the 31-year-old says he hopes to continue unifying belts.

“I want historic fights,” he said.
