Stunning scenes at UFC London as fighters confront each other backstage
UFC London was meant to be over, but apparently the fighters weren’t finished just yet.
In bizarre scenes, main event bout winner Jorge Masvidal, who overcame Darren Till in front of the latter’s home crowd with a second-round knockout, later became involved with another fighter midway through an interview.
Masvidal, who had been speaking to ESPN, became irritated with a comment from Leon Edwards and walked away from the interview to confront him.
Incredibly, the pair then threw hands at one another and had to held back by security.
A stunned former UFC Champion Michael Bisping, who happened to be commentating at the time urged the fighters not to “spoil” their moment, with Edwards also having claimed a victory over Gunnar Nelson during the event.
“Guys, please. You’ve both just won. You had amazing performances,” Bisping said.
“Revel in the moment, do not spoil your moment!”
