LAST TIME THEY FOUGHT: Wilder vs Fury draw despite massive final-round knockdown
The fight between two previously undefeated opponents in Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder was billed as one where “somebody’s ‘0’ has got to go”, but it turned to be anything but.
Despite being knocked down in the final round, Fury was able to recover in order to continue the fight and hold out for a draw.
Fury had also been knocked down in the ninth round, but otherwise dominated the fight, leading many to believe he’d win in a points decision once the fight went the distance.
The rematch will take place on Sunday February 23 at approximately 4pm AEDT.
