This World Cup will primarily be hosted in the Caribbean, though co-hosting the tournament is, for the first time, the United States, with matches to be played in Dallas, New York and Florida.

The format for this World Cup is different to previous tournaments, with 20 teams divided into four groups of five, before the top two in each group head into the ‘Super 8s’.

From there, the top two teams in each of the two Super 8 groups feature in the semi-finals, with the winners there to square off in the decider.

Australia have been put in a group with old foes England, as well as Namibia, Scotland and Oman.

Under a new deal announced in late 2023, Amazon have purchased the exclusive rights to all ICC tournaments, men and women, from 2024-2027.

That means the only place to watch the 2024 T20 World Cup will be on Amazon’s subscription streaming service, Prime Video.

An Amazon Prime subscription includes Prime Video as part of the package, and will set you back $9.99 a month – while new customers may be eligible for a 30-day free trial.

Once subscribed, simply navigate to the ‘Sports‘ section of the platform, find the match you want to watch, and start streaming. Prime Video allows you to both catch every moment of every match live, or on demand catch-up at the time of your choosing so you don’t have to burn the midnight oil to catch every moment from the West Indies and the USA.

The Roar will also cover the tournament, with live scores, blogs, highlights and analysis.
